Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox Engine performance is good. Fuel economy is good compared to Hatchback car segement. Gear box is not stylish, but handling is smooth enough.
Ride Quality & Handling Ride is superb! turning is smooth.
Final Words Interior is very very bad. Hyundai had used very cheap plastic inside. Many people do not notice at first glance. Check for plastic used for the hand resting handle on all doors. Small nail scratch leaves the marks and spoils the plain plastic (considering children in a car or any person sitting). This is not the case in other cars like Swift, Polo etc. I have checked multiple times.
This turns down, because you will be sitting inside with family and car should look decent from inside. The plastic spoiles quickly. Even the color used inner plastic is not so good. standard colors are beige or black.
Another big drawback of the car is no leg space for third person sitting in middle rear sit. The glass holder is projected too much behind leaving no space for middle person for leg. Very bad about it. because it becomes four sitter car!!!

Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) I got this car before 6 days. I am not stisfied with this care. it looks decent & bigger but luggage space is not there after CNG KIT. Without CNG it is very costly.If there was a space for CNG tank & for luggage it would be my dream care. i went to the show room for purchasing assent. but looking eterior view of i 20 within 5 minuites i purchase this car.My idea for purchasing care was before one houre ago. now i am not satisfied.
Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox Engine & gearbox performance is excellent. Fuel economy is very poor. I decided to sell this car after 6 days & decided to purchase TATA's diesel car. look is not always considerable. it must be fuel efficient. & larg space for touring.
Ride Quality & Handling I like most to drive this car. But my pocket does not match with it milage capacity.
Final Words Before buying new care always think about fuel efficiency first.
Areas of Improvement If this care having costing atleast 6 lakh in diesel. I will always go with HYUNDAI.

Exterior Decent! I decide to buy this cate at showroom within 5 minutes. as I went to buy assent only. but looking this car at showroom got confused than after decided to buy this car only.
Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Best but I am not satisfied with space after CNG compare to it spaceous look.
Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox Fuel economy is very poor. as per my view. as I travels 120km always by car. it is costly for me.
Ride Quality & Handling Excellent.
Final Words If it was diesel car costing around 6 lakh it will be my dreal car.
Areas of improvement Regarding to the cost if thare is sufficient space after CNg in care, it would be comfortable for log touring by more luggage. my problem with space for luggage after CNG. or I should go with tata's diesel car below 6 lakh. "start it, fill it forget it" this car is in my buget but not match with my pocket buget.

Exterior its simply awsome design, looks different from all other hatchbacks. better design than swift and fabia and other hatchbacks in its segment, I personally suggest you should test drive i20 and you will get in love with this car.
Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) doesnt looks as you are sitting in a hatchback, it seems like you are driving a luxury sedan.
Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox Engine is very responsive, driven for just 300 kms its giving me 12 kmpl in city, havent gone on highway yet so cant tell mileage, Gear shifting is simply awsome, I earlier had indica vista quadrajet. i20 is far far better than that car. I simply love this car.
Ride Quality & Handling Ride quality is awsome, its instument panel guides you well when to change gears for getting optimum mileage. Dont have to change gears frequently at low RPM also.
Final Words Go for i20 you will simple love this lovely beast.

Exterior The styling is pretty good - no sharp edges - rounded edges. Decent choice of colors - I particularly liked the Sparkle Blue which I selected.
Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Lots of space for the front riders. After test driving other competing cars (Swift, Micra), i20 makes you feel as if you are high up riding an SUV. Hyundai has loaded up all the features and options - USB adaptor, gear-shift advice indicator, cooling-heating box in glove compartment to keep your drinks cool/warm, automatic courtesy light, boot light, powered mirrors, external temperature indicator.
Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox 1.2 L engine is generally sufficient, but on certain occasions (esp when the car is loaded), you wish for 1.4 L engine. The manual gear shifting is convenient and pretty smooth. I have been averaging around 14.5-15 kmpl within city limits (in Hyderabad/Cyberabad area). Witht the AC on during summers, it has generally been around 12.5-13.5 kmpl.
Ride Quality & Handling Ride quality is one of the best aspects of i20. I had test driven Nissan Micra (and had a Zen and Civic), So Micra's ride quality was more like that of Zen and i20's was more like that of Civic. This single aspect was compelling enough to make i20 win. The car handles quite well in the traffic - though sometimes its slightly larger frame makes it a bit tough to manage parking in those tight basement parking spots!
Final Words If you are looking for a fully loaded, spacious car with good fuel economy, at a reasonable price, i20 is the way to go.
Areas of improvement As mentioned earlier, i20 actually deserves a 1.4 L engine. Hyundai does give 1.4 L variant, but currently that comes only in automatic transmission.

After doing lot of research I owned one i20 Asta CRDI. Now I've crossed more than 6000 Kms. Eventhough, I liked performance of Punto 90 bhp, decided to go for i20 due to better resale value and service network
Exterior I'll rate this as better than Swift and Punto. Will consider swift slightly old aged, even though looks are person dependent.
Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Looks classy and feels rich. Better than punto or swift. Looks very modern and can compete with any luxury car.
Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox One of the best in its class. Will call this an yamaha RX 100 (if someone has driven this legend of 80's) among cars in 3L to 10L category..
After 2000 rpm, engine gives lots of pick up. I've touches 170 kmph and still vehicle was stable. plain road acceleration is excellent and can beat any SUV on highways. Will not feel like driving diesel car.
Ride Quality & Handling Excellent ride quality and safety features on good roads. 4 wheel disc with ABS,EBD and airbags gives confidence to the driver.
Final Words If you are looking at performance and not bothered much about mileage and mostly drive on good roads and can afford to spend slightly more for performance.. then this is the car for you.
Areas of improvement The biggest drawback which i'll tell is its poor ground clearance. In a moderately bad road you will have every chance of lower bumper getting scratches.
Further suspension also is slightly soft which can unsettle the car in slightly bad road. But on good roads this car rules.

One of the best exteriors. Others from this segment like Swift ,Ritz stand no chance against i20.Figo and Polo comparable but definately i20 exterior styling is better than the rest. Space wise ,this is the largest hatchback ...dimensions are bigger than any of the rivals. Good legspace for front as well as rear passengers ..3 persons can be seated comfortably at the rear .Features wise also good ..the basic features i.e. music system ,power windows , OVRMs ,Power steering are provided on all the models of i20 ....some of the luxury features only availble at the higher models...ABS and air bags available only at ASTA. 1200 cc engine most of the times is good ..only complains when fully loaded. mileage not so good ..it gives around 11-12 km/ltr in the city. And the gearbox is smooth. Ride quality and handling is excellant. i20 is a good family car. definately worth it's price..and mileage is the area it needs improvement.

I was waiting for this car Hyundai i20 Astha since september 2008 but at last I got it. Really good style, excellent interior, more spacious, comofortable seats, with latesl technology. No idea of average in city and highway will let you know assoon as possible. I have already booked this vehicle. not found any bad remark of this vehicle. Better than Maruti Swift, Swift Dezire, Ford Fiesta, good pick up. Thanks to the the almighty god. Exterior Very Good Looks. Neat Design. Biggest car in its segment.
Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Interiors looks are nice. But I felt like it is easily getting scratches, so the plastic quality could have been better. Seats are nice and comfortable. Adjustable steering is a very good feature found in the car. Sometimes felt like legs are touching the dashboard(it may be due to the reason that I am keeping the seat very near to steering to get good road view).
Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox Engine is good, but I wish it could have more power. But with this much power it is giving very good mileage on Highways - more than 22. In city the mileage is somewhere between 16-18 I felt. Gears and clutch are little hard, no difficulties faced.
Ride Quality & Handling Ride Quality is Excellent. The travel is like a smooth sailing in the sea. No Tuk-Tuk sounds, no harsh behavior. The handling is smooth and easy.Eventhough it is the biggest car in this segment we feel like driving a small car like Alto.
Final Words Excellent car. Very good mileage on Highways. In city you may need to fill more petrol. Enough power(for calm drivers).
Areas of improvement They can make the interior plastic quality better and seat height can be little higher(as I am a short fellow I felt like) and power can be increased a bit for the satisfaction of sporty drivers. I give 90/100 to i20.

Exterior Sharp and Stylish masculine exteriors that will give you both eyes and heads turning to you.
Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Feature packed and spacious interior (and boot). Poor comfort on potholed roads like you can hear the 'Khatak' noise inside during rebound strokes of damper.
Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox Well responding engine. Fuel economy upto 18kmpl with the Automatic climate control ON. Needs frequent shifts at low speeds.
Ride Quality & Handling Poor ride quality and poor handling.
Final Words If you are a white collar jobee and got your route all on those well textured asphault paths, its the best car you can have from this segment.
Areas of improvement It feels like Hyundai has almost forgotten to do the preps to take Indain customers or have they underestimated the class that would buy the premium hatches in India.
Suspension needs to be tuned for Indian roads. Bulid quality shall be improved. A higher ground clearance would also be appreciated.
