I will not recommend anyone to buy Honda City cars at all. We bought the car 4-5 years back. After 3 years it's body started rusting. It is a manufacturing defect and use of lot low grade steel or iron sheets. This car looks as if it is more than 20 years old because of the rust in complete body. It's speedometer, AC, Engine too are of the low quality as we have them serviced more than required since we bought it. Not just that, we bought another honda city GXi 2.5 years back. That too has started rusting from the left passenger door. PLEASE DO NOT BUY HONDA CARS AS THEY ARE THE WORST CARS TO BUY BECAUSE OF LOW QUALITY COMPONENTS AND SHEETS USED. It is dangerous for passengers safety. Plus if someone has to buy a rusting car why should someone shell out 8 lakh rupees from ones pocket. If someone else is having he same problem with HONDA CARS email us at honda@ivedas.com. We can plan to file class action law suit against Honda India.HIGH PRICE TO SHELL OUTUses Low Grade Sheets n Manufacturing, Low quality Speedometer, AC, ENGINE and other parts

Excellent marvelous in this range.

All are good but mileage is very low by my view. This model was class Best interior Very smooth engine Good for family Good for pickup To speed 170 by me But its power and engine is excellent.

Great design but poor service

Exterior Great.

Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Great. Rear folding seat wud hv been a plus. Gearshift rod can b a little behind. Dead clutch pedal very much desired.

Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox I had a problem of car stalling while pickup. I literally tried evrything possible with Goa Honda but the response was 'pl change yr driving style'. Then I got it repaired at Kolhapur franchisee. The driver seat belt was not retracting from day1 but remark was 'tested ok' and now after 4 years they say 'u hv to pay Rs1700'. Even common items like bumpers r not avlble and reason is 'thailand floods and Japan Tsunami'. Great product but pathetic service at Goa. No service centre in North Goa. Unspoken motto appears to b 'Take it if u want'

Ride Quality & Handling Rride is smooth but not for bumpy roads. pick up is a little lower.

Final Words Space and ride quality attract but service in Goa leaves a lot to b desired.

Areas of improvement - Spare availbbility at Goa, Attitude of Goa team( Abilility to empathise with customer rather than telling him u r wrong), dead clutch pedal required.
Great design, spacious and bright, comfortablevehicle service at Goa

Excellent daily driver.

I owned the to end model for years. I am truly grateful to this car. The engine is also superb. I definitely suggest you drive the car in person. I drive the person for 10 years. The interior is also very good. It has all the creature comforts and the AC is also very good. The boot space is me than enough. A very good product from Honda.

Superb car to own

Hi Guys,

I used to look at reviews of other cars, but never read the reviews of my car as it never caused me a prob. But just seeing the model i read a few reviews and thought to share with you my experience.

I am a proud owner of city zx gxi cvt for past 2 yrs. There is nothing special about this car, but nothing to say bad too. this satisfies all my needs, gives me speed when needed, superb handling, pickup, easy city driving.... simply an awesome car except for its low road clearence which in kerala, will cause to hear some scrathy noises when you drive through uneven and mud roads.

Fuel efficiency cant be said as excellent, though i will settle for what i get (9-10 in city) coz it havent let me down a single day. Whatever service things i have got from the dealers is ok for me, i dont care much on them coz we all know its india, not US or Gulf.

Recently they gave me a civic AT for test drive, but with all new features, i will still prefer my city coz of its smooth drive

Exterior The older City ZX has a good front but the front looks like an Altis. The rear is better than new City iVTEC 2008.

Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Interiors are good but flimsy as well. The features list like Paddle Shifts,Automatic,Beige Seats,CD Player with Aux-in port,Fog lamps and Alloys are good. But could do with USB Port,Leather Seats,Adjustable rear Headrests,Parking Sensors and Auto AC with Climate Control. The space is better than Fiesta,SX4,Aveo and Accent but it can never beat the new Etios. The comfort is good but can never rival Etios again.

Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox The VTEC engine has 100 PS which is almost 16 PS less than new City iVTEC. But no compromise as used option is VTEC. The FE is not best but fine. The Automatic gearbox can never be limited by SX4,Verna,Vento.

Ride Quality & Handling The ride is good but stiff suspension means stiff low speed ride and sluggish downshift. Road and wind noise also filters in cabin. But handling is a class act.

Final Words The City ZX VTEC is good. The car has a good ride,look,space and comfort and gearshift.

Areas of improvement Low engine speed punch,Resale due its discontinued.
