• I bought a city ZX in dec'07 and so far I have completed almost 5000 kms. My car runs daily 50 kms on the highway, and I didnt have any problems with this car except for the milage. though I run the car in 5th gear most of the time at speeds between 80-100 kms, it offers me an avg of only 12-13kms ( Based on what people and honda sales guy told me I expected it to give me atleast 16kms on highway and 13-14 in city conditions).
• Another problem is frequent servicing. Honda city needs to be serviced every 5000kms or 3 months whichever is earlier (As compared to other cars like Accent which need to be serviced every 10000kms/ six months) and the minimum cost of servicing is 1700rs (This includes only basic servicing like air filter change). This increases the overall maintenance of city. The car gets a bit sluggish if its loaded with 5 people, though seating is very comfortable for 5 people in it.
• City EXI does not offer many features like other cars eg: alloy wheels, fog lights, cigg lighter etc but the price is much higher as compared to SX4 and Accent/Verna which offer better features and a more powerful engines.
• Drive quality is excellent, with its refined engine and good turning radius which makes it easy to drive on congested roads.

Conclusion - City would have been an excellent buy 2-3 yrs back but loses out in present market in terms of features, price and maintenance.

I recently purchased a 2006 Honda City ZX GXi, and I must say, it's been an amazing experience from the get-go. Driving the Honda City ZX GXi is a delight. It offers a smooth and comfortable ride, even on bumpy roads. The steering is responsive, making city driving a breeze, and it handles well on highways too. The car's sleek and stylish exterior design still looks modern even though it's an older model. The interior is spacious and comfortable, with ample legroom for both front and rear passengers. The engine performance is impressive, providing adequate power for both city commutes and long drives. So far, servicing and maintenance have been relatively affordable and easy to manage. Regular oil changes and routine check-ups have kept the car running smoothly without any major issues. Pros: Stylish exterior design, Comfortable and spacious interior, Smooth and responsive driving experience, Good fuel efficiency. Cons: Some minor interior components feel a bit cheap, Could use better sound insulation for a quieter ride. Overall, my experience with the 2006 Honda City ZX GXi has been overwhelmingly positive. It's a reliable and practical car that offers great value for money. I would highly recommend it to anyone in the market for a used sedan.

I had bought honda City zx last year it is best car I ever used very low maintenance and powerful engine with chilled ac And the seating is superb we don't feel tired I prefer for honda City zx if u r planning for purchase a car I had installed CNG in my car my god it gives me average of 25 on AC at highway and 18 km on petrol

Exterior r just gr8. Its really eye catching, I think its the most beautiful car in its segment. Interiors r also very nice, wood finish is very refined on the dashboard really nice interiors, there is a hell lot of space inside the cabin and the cabin is very much sound proof. Its very much comfortable. Infact we went for a holiday on our honda city from patiala to nainital which is about 550 kms and we completed it in about 11-12 hrs. and we were nt that much tired as u expect from a 11-12 hr journey. Though there are a bit less features like it don't have airbags and abs in gxi model bt still its a gr8 car 2 buy. its engine has less power as compared to other cars in its segment. It has 78ps of power, bt still it reaches 0-100 in 11 sec, its fuel economy is also good which is approx. 15 km/lt, and its engine is very very silent, no noise of engine comes in the cabin, handling of this car is quite nice. My final words about this would be that it is not a driver's car its the car for those guys who want comfort,status symbol,beautiful car, Honda can improve its engine's power. Honda's after sale service is just superb. Though it is a bit costly bt they really care for u and ur car.

I bought this car after extensive research on the net, met drivers & checked agaist choices in test drives. Showroom chaps of all car models know zilch. Other choices: Ford Fiesta 1.5TDCI, SX-4, Logan Diesel & Verna. City beats them hollow, unless u plan to drive more than 2000km/month... Then Logan is better. Try K's honest Car review (Google it) It hits hard and makes a good point for the City. Also check the city-fiesta shootout in this website. City is The Benchmark for this car segement and is a better choice.Bought at Harmony Honda in Chg and drove it to Pune. Loved the drive because of the car. Take my word, this car is worth every bit of money sunk in. All my friends who've taken a lift in my car want to buy a Honda City too.
Comfort is top notch, A/C is ++ effective, engine & chassis is silent,Fuel Avg City/Hwy is 14/18,None whatsoever

I have owned this vehicle for three and a half years now and have nothing but praise for it. It has very comfortable interiors, outstanding pickup and great mileage even with the AC running on full blast. It requires very low maintenance... due to my hectic schedule, at times an entire year elapses between consecutive servicings and still my car runs great. An absolute hasslefree vehicle... and oh yes it's a girl magnet. It came with goodyear tyres, which were pretty useless. I have since replaced them with Bridgestone and they work fine. I have owned a number of vehicles in the past and I dare say there is none like Honda. My next vehicle will be a Honda or a Toyota for sure. Nobody makes cars like the Japanese do.Amazing pickup, great comfort, low maintenance, great AC.Low ground clearance, Goodyear tyres are bad.

What a car from Honda, the build quality is excellent. The engine will beat current car power and performance. No match, pick up better than current 2023 models. If Honda releases the 10th anniversary edition model again in the market, it will hit the market.
