very good value for money if you are the sporty type.

hi everybody ... i was planning  the purchase of my new vehicle well my choices at that time were the SX4, the aveo and the honda city..
first it took the test drive of the sx4 the vehicle which i test drove was a demo vehicle and had barely run 5000 kms but the vehicle was already rattling on the bad roads!!!!
that is what i found the worst in all maruti vehicles.... they may have the best service backup and the best resale value but the build of the vehicle is very poor... the engine of the sx4 is really great .. the gear shifts are smooth.... but the stereo was bad it was an original company fitted stereo!!! the interiors of the car are totally cheap and you dont feel that you are driving a vehicle that will cost you 8+ on the road!!!! so i decided to move on
my next drive was the honda city gxi now this is a really refined vehicle.. damn smooth operator... the interiors are great...but the biggest setback was the power.... the engine hardly churns out 78bhp and even when you floor the accelerator the engine does not seem to leave the cruise mode!!!! the next model was the vtec engine which cost 10.6 on road so i decided against the city as my budget was around 8-8.5... of course i had the choice of waiting for the all new honda city 2008... i went and saw the display vehicle it is a eye catcher alright but that also i feel is slightly overpriced and moreover the driver seat felt a little cramped ( i am 6ft tall) and the vehicle does not have a stereo only a usb port which can be connected only to the latest version of the ipod!!! and no provision for fog lamps and no alloy wheels !!!!!! so you basically and up paying nearly 10lacs for the honda label alone so that ruled out the honda city!!!!!!!!
I was driving a ford ikon earlier and have been driving my brother in laws Chevy SRV for the last few months and i am really fed with the service of the chevy guys there were a few minor problems with the car and even after two visits to the service station these issues were not solved i was a llitle dejected and the thought of getting the aveo flew out of the mind!!
i never really liked the fiesta in the first look moreover i never am inclined towards the diesel engines and the fiesta's maximum sale are in the diesel segment... but then i always had a soft corner for ford and i really loved my ikon flair...so for that alone i went for the test drive for the sport version of the fiesta and the ad on the tv also impressed me so i thought why not indulge myself!!!
well the new fiesta 1.6s is an eye catcher!!!! the modifications do make the vehicle look sporty and the drive really convinced me ....the engine is damn smooth ... the pick up is great  ..the road grip is superb you never feel that you are not in control of the drive and the braking also is damn good with abs and ebd!!!! i was a little concerned with the after sales situation but i never had any issue with my ford ikon hence i finally decided that the fiesta 1,6s would be my next car ...I have already booked it am waiting for the loan process to get over and hopefully will be zooming in my fiesta the next weekend!!!!!!!!
