Exterior Excellent style for sedan at this price range, No competion at all. It will definitely attract eyes of many when you are riding through the city. Look like a premium sedan from outside.

Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Eventhough there is enough space and pockets for holding necessary things, Interior plastic quality should have been better. Not meeting the expectation of a GM customer. Must plan for some upgradation in interior.

Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox Very smooth engine. A nice one to drive you are not expecting a very aggressive drive. Torque and power generation is very linear so that it will not make you any discomfort while riding through a busy city traffic.  Fuel economy is average. You may expect much more higher mileage if most of your rides are through city. Mileage is coming down sharply when you are in heavy traffic. Gear box lacks power at fourth and fifth gears. A gear shift is necessary to overtake a truck.

Ride Quality & Handling Excellent ride and handling. Suspension is superbly tuned for indian roads.

Final Words A good choice if you are not worried about Interiors and Power.

Areas of improvement Definitely plastic quality. Audio Controls on steering. Aesthitically Better steering wheel. If possible a much more powerfull engine.

 interior is not good back seat is not comfortable they are like dtc bus seat and in long drive this car is not good 

Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox

 from the first day clutch is very hard but even after 1 year this issue is not solved by service center everytime they say clutch is not on warranty like on gaffar market ki hamari koi warranty nhi ha chahya 5 min bad he clutch kharab ho jya i think service center use duplicate parts thats why service engineer say this thing. even they charge evertime and say that this is not on warranty many time i said to service center that this is manufacturing fault but they are not take any action for this

Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox Poor in first and second gear. When Ac is on than you have to press race paddle hard to move it fast.Fuel economy is 11 Km in City and 13-14 Km on Highway.

Ride Quality & Handling OK but driver side is totally blind while turning the car on right.

Final Words Engine performance is not good but as far as features and look, it is a good car.

Areas of improvement In our City there is only one service centre and they do service on their own terms and conditions as there is no other authorised service centre in chandigarh, Needs more service centre in our city Chandigarh to give good service to Sail owners. Further spare parts are not avilable in the market for sail as in case of Maruti and Hyndai that is way resale value is very poor. One most dangerous area is its Horn position on steering wheel. There are only two points which are to press for horn . In other cars  even one touch on wheel will blow the horn.

 It was excellent and stylish head lamps and tail lamps too. Sail sedan shape marvelous and excellent i like a lot sail sedan using new since 3 months.

Interior (Features, Space & Comfort)

 Interiors was very very nice and especially dash board style was marvelous, fantastic, while driving very comfort and spacious a lot and enjoying a lot and i strongly recomend to buy this car and enjoy like anything.

Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox

 Engine was very smooth and no vibrations and excellent performance and fuel on high ways will give 18 km/lt and good gear box also good, overl all excellent sail sedan moel.

Ride Quality & Handling

 I ride a lot some thousands of km and quality wise excellent and good handling. i enjoyed a lot while driving the sail sedan car.

Final Words

 Finally excellent car to buy for new buyers and i strongly recommended to buy and enjoy in your lifes. Safety wise also excellent and Finally hats of to Chevolet Sail Sedan group of India.

Its my first car.

I was very Confuse to purshase the new car. Bcoz there were a lots of car in market. and i also visit in my showroom..  That time , i Did nt know about Sail Car. Bcoz there was only few car in my city. So, i was not intersed to purshase this car. Thatwhy i Did n't Visit in there Showrrom.

I talked with my incharge on this matter. then they adivce me to visit there showroom. They said, U have to visit every Showroom. So, when i visit there showroom.

First Thing Which Impress Me . Car Look.

Really Nic Look. Actullay My Height Is 6'1. So, I preffer to purshase car According to my hright But I my bugdet.

When I Sit in car. I feel Comfort.. I also Visit In Maruti Showrrom for dezire.. Bt according to my heights nt much comfort as Compare to Sail Sedan.. 😊

Test Drive was good. I was luxary. But My all friends did not advise me purchse this car.. I was only fever of car.. Omg. again I Confused.. Bt Last I pray to god. and purshased Sail Sedan Car... 

Bt Now, M proud on my decision. M love to drive this car.. m Form jalandhar (Punjab).

Exterior Good exterior with strong body structure.

Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Interior quality should be improved. plastic used in interior is very poor and low quality. AC is not working properly when out side temperature is above 35. very specious car and boot space is also good.

Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox Ggood engine performance and pickup too. fuel economic is avg. feeling little jerk in 3rd gear. pick up is disturbed when ac on. 

Ride Quality & Handling Smooth ride with low noice. horn is quite hard and it is in side. so in traffic or while turning it is difficult to use horn.

Final Words In this price range it is good. but one can go for fiat linea classic or ford classic and in compact sedan can go for honda amaze or tata zest

Areas of improvement Interior should be imporved with good quality of plastic and other material. AC should also be improved. horn is very hard and its location is also odd. it should be in the center of the stearing.

Exterior looks very good and best among the entry level sedans. To me its far better than Dzire, Amaze or Xcent so far as looks and seating comfort are concerned.

Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Quite spacious, enough legrooms for rear passengers. Seats are a bit hard but fitting of proper covers solvs this problem. Boot space is quite good. Suspension quality is also good enough.

Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox Pick up not upto the mark as is obvious as the body is heavy and the engine is 1200 cc. Mileage with constant AC is 10.5 to 11 for the petrol vrsion. But the engine is noiseless. The car is meant for family use and NOT for reckless overtaking.

Ride Quality & Handling Quite impressive.

Final Words I dont drive the car myself and generally use the backseat. I am satisfied with the car.

Areas of improvement 1.3  engine as used in the diesel version would be definitely a better option as the car is heavy.

Space, comfort, lookslow pick up, hard horn

Exterior Good if some styling line on exterior will be good.

Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Roomy space nothing bad, when comparing with other cars, this car has good room space you cannot imagine.

Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox Excellent performance and mileage for diesel, 24 in highway and 19 in city with AC.

Ride Quality & Handling Rigid riding and handing like a baby.

Final Words I tried many cars with this price tag for below 8 lacs, this one has more options like airbag, ABS, more boot space, good AC, diesel car, more room space.

Areas of improvement Enter again in Indian market for better understanding, as even fiat is having lesser market share when compared with chevy earlier, now they have incresed, chevy's draw back in market share is "chevy doesn't trust indian market" as they under estimate indian market as they had launched old and face out models in india like Optra, Tavera, Chineese model sail, etc. but they had a break through to change their selling is Beat, its hot selling car, they might have caught that oppurtunity to understand the market requirement and sail in the wavelenth of the customer needs. but we witness the loser - chevy by losing customers trust as they never launched next to next new models after Beat.

AC superb even in summer season, excellent cabin space even 3 adult can sit in rear seatNothing to say, but company pulled out from India is worsen that will affect for resale

Exterior is the best as compared to other sedan rivals. It is much better in looks compared with desire, amez etc.

Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) When I compared with other I feel most comfortable car for driving, best for space, in case of features it has all require features.... if they add stearing control then it will better than best. but the other side of coin is cause of absence of stearing control driver will concentrate on driving only  this is my thought process.

Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox Engine performance is more than avrage, very smooth engine, better fuel economy, best sedan car for city traffic also, during take over require to shift to the lower gear when in slop...but oiverall the more than avarage engine perfomance.

Ride Quality & Handling Very comfortable ride quality. I drive continously 300KM no any issue or backpain etc . As ABS is very effective it also helps in controling the car when it above 100 km/hour.

Final Words When I decided  to purchase the Chevy SAIL SEDAN. Every one surprized. About my choice. They suggest Desize or Amez. but now everyone again surprized that how this exellant car ignore by indians. Because we people blindly follow the things without any study. I personally found SAIL-SEDAN is much much better than DESIRE, AMEZ, i-20. It is a proper sedan car. which improve your status. It will definately noticed in crowd.

Areas of improvement Should add Stearing controll, the power window control gave at infront of gear knob so it should improve.
