      Exterior When I was called from the dealer several times for Test Drive,I make my mind for test drive as regular approach by the dealer I was not full fledge to test Drive but as soon as I reached the showroom with my younger son Shawaiz its look was so impressive just different from all its VW cars just different so My first Impression over Look is Very Beautiful as I am lover of my earlier Car Hyundai GETZ for 15 years,it is now switcheable.Toffee Brown was the colour.

      Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) When I opened the door under the dashboard lights are on so impressive then I seated on drivers seat,The Starring wheel touched my heart as it is flat in the bottom such type of things are generally in racing cars and highly priced cars have it again I impressed then went for Drive its accelaration again impressed me very nice acceleration then I tried with AC also works nicely smoothness of engine is still exists,then tried the cruise control means automatic moving of the vehicle in a fixed speed no need for acceletor only starring wheel control so nice,automatic wipers are so good starring whell Adjustments with Tilt and Telescopic is so nice for comfortness Driver seat adjustments are also very easy.

      Anti pintch windows glass are great addition ,Day and night rear view mirror is so nice,electronically controlled side door mirrors are so nice with turning indication inbuilt only lack of little more space in rear are needed overall great CAR for me and who have knowledge of car performance.

      Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox Engine is nice I have got 20kmpl in highways and 15 to 17 kmpl in city. Gearbox is also very smooth even the back gear shiftment is different from others.

      Ride Quality & Handling I feel very gripy over the road as its weight of the AMEO feels like I am driving the higher end cars like BMW and AUDI.

      Final Words I love my VW AMEO very much.

      Areas of improvement Everything is provided accept the new generation symbol of keyless entry and start. And safety point of view more AIRBAGS should be provided instead of 2 with extra charges.

      Grip over the Road,its acceleration,Cruise Control,Auto Wipers and more all are very Good.Only lack of enough space in rear.

      i brought this ameo car in ramani Volkswagen showroom at first i called them to the test drive only on seeing their explanation and offer which the offer to us made me to book the car on the day itself in comfort of my home and on the day of delivery after all checking we took delivery and my riding experience is awesome even i was new to the driving i learned driving in this car over all details of looks of the car is nice in terms of front look is dynamic and back look is some what lagging even though it is nice because it is a aerodynamic design,just few months ago i have completed my free check up of the car and for that they have billed 2500 something for some overheads service feedback inquiry is awesome and from my point of view ameo is a perfect compact sedan when comparing with rivals such as new swift desire ,Hyundai x cent ,Honda amaze etc .

      1. Buying experience not good. Car was having paint defect. In book sales person mentioning car is checked from all side than how it was having paint defect 2. Riding experience awesome. 3. Luxurious look performance is great just pickup is low due to 3 cylinders 4. Servicing and maintenance too high compared to other companies following same standards 5. Pros - looks and performance too good. Cons- back seat space and pickup is low.

      I own Volkswagen Ameo Highline Plus 2018 model which was the top model in petrol for manual transmission. I was in very much confusion state because i never drove volkswagen and heard from almost all that its maintenance is very high. But honestly after first test drive i was very much attracted to the comfort, smoothness of the engine and premium loaded features. My another choice was Honda WRV and jazz. I took reviews from live audience too and went for it. Guess what i drove 8000 kms in just 4 months and my love towards volkswagen is not an inch lesser. Its an amazing car with supreme german engineering of engine. Its loaded with all premium features like Cruise control, rear AC, parking camera, parking sensors, fog lights, ultra premium music system, ability to adjust steering wheel as per your need, rain sensing wipers and so many others. Only and the only thing which i dislike is its poor fuel economy but that's fine. With such a premium car, one can afford this. I get 11 km avg in city and 16kmpl on highways which is good for sedan cars. Rear space is somewhat less. Don't come under the myths circulating for this car. Its a must buy product. If you love to drive, this makes you apart from other cars. Feels like i travel daily with my car. Proud owner. Go for it.

      This car is made for who loves driving and feel german engineering. This is the car when you will drive you will feel safe. Volkswagen never compromise its safety feature even in base to top end model. This car has superb engine sound which sound like a racing car. All the interior functions are very good.

      Service cost is a bit high, but its once an year. Milege was a concern till 1500km, now it is 13kmpl or more in average city conditions, which was 9kmpl initially. Back look could have been a bit stylish, but still its not that bad as well.

      Buying experience was although quite good in person. Good customer service from EVM Volkswagen, Pathanamthitta. I think Riding experience is the key feature of this car. It just gets smoother and smoother on the road . Look wise i am very much satisfied with its front but a little bit disappointed with its back portion. I think it has a killer performance among the cars in this price range. It only takes a few secs to rev up all down to reach a ton. Service and maintenance is above average on my opinion. Pros. Great looks Powerful body Good engine Quite spacious Good mid-range performance Comparatively great features of cars in this segment Decent mileage Good performance Great sound system Cons Personally don't agree with its back look Maintenance lag Average low end performance
