    • Beware about maintenance costs

      Beware about maintenance cost, I have driven the Ameo for 43,000 km now. The normal maintenance of 15000 km costs in the range of Rs 12 to 13k. Apart from that, the steering rack of my car required a change at40,000 km costing me a total maintenance cost of Rs 48,000/=. The dealer promised it on prorata warranty replacement but later denied warranty. Beware of navi mumbai dealer AutoBhan.

      I purchased ameo in 2018. It's a wonderful car in segment. Riding and handling is awesome on road. When it is on highway it's feel like not a single jerk. I am suggesting all to purchase ameo.

      Safety purpose point of view of the car is excellent. Service cost is the approximately same as per Kms run. I have taken a test drive and feel the sports car features. Body is harder than maruti models.

      Lovely driving experience. Not so expensive the service, as I was informed. Pro is that it has the Vento's engine. So powerful. The perfect buddy for a highway. Good speakers and has apple carplay and Android auto at the top end. Worth the ownership. Cons are the public perception of the service, and the rear seat space.

      Better car but a few service centres in India. I am from balasore,Odisha I have to drive 200km up & down to Bhubaneswar for any Repairs. It's bad feeling to me and have to pay 3 Toll gate fees. Volkswagen Bhubaneswar not able to solve manufacturing defects & Warranties at Balasore . It's a very negative point from me.

    • The Best Car for the Best Price??

      I had purchased this car 2 years back when it had just arrived in the market. The car is really worth for it's price cause a compact sedan from Volkswagen at such an amazing price is really wonderful. Talking about the performance it flows with roads. The Air-conditioning is really powerful compared to other cars in its segment. The best thing I love the most in Ameo is it's engine sound when accelerated to 4000rpm. It actually feels like we are driving a race car. I get some 15 to 20 kmpl mileage while on Highways. The car is really comfortable for 4 as the 2nd row is a bit tight for 3 healthy people. The leg space is a small issue mainly at the back. Otherwise the car is really good for long drives. Even if we drive at the speed of 120kmph the passengers won't even feel a discomfort. I have no words to say regarding the looks of the Volkswagen Ameo as it is breathtaking.

      Very cheaper Very easy driving Good looking Nice body finishing Heavy curve weight. Everything fine I find many features in less price. i.e. orvm body color in base model Turn indicator in mirror Speed sensing door lock Ignition key off reminder Gear shift indicator Electric tale gate opener Tilt and teliscopic steering. And may other thing in just base model.

      I have Volkswagen trendline Ameo petrol version since August 2017. My buying experience is main pull for this car. The car is completely finance by their own company at that time and I got my car with in one day with out any burden. The car is very good in riding on way for your office and give luxuary touch when you sit in the car. Breaking system is excellent and body looks strong. The look is best in range of the amount which I paid for my car and capable to attract every person. The performance is good. I have driven car up to 28000km till now with single service but cost about RS. 8000 but not bad. The average is about 16km per litter on highway below speed 80km.The main significance of this car is great look,body and prformance. But main disadvantage is poor space inside not feeling comfortable for 5 people to be inside. So it can't be a ideal family car but desgined for single official person.

      Awesome car, Superb build quality, great drivability, suspension is best in class. Just go for it if you are planning to buy a sub 4 Meter sedan. Fuel economy is average for 1.2 cc engine but it's good in 1.0 L engine. Far better than other car manufacturers in India. One more thing, if you are taller than 5'8" then legroom in back seats can be an issue for you.
