Exterior Good.

Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Good.

Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox When shifting gear from 2nd to 3rd I was stuck in between and push extra hard to get into third gear. And another problem, the exhaust pipe getting disconnected from the muffler by itself-poor workmanship.

Producing noises like an old bus at the time of starting and switching off the engine. All this started within 1500 km of running and 45 days of purchasing a new Nexon diesel XZ+. Cabin noise is very less. Audio system is ok. When the problem of gear shift was brought to the notice of the dealer they tried and tried but could not fix it.

Finally they gave a hint that I have to change my style of driving though I have been driving for thirty years  and about ten cars of various brands  both petrol and diesel. I regret the day I bought this car. And finally one word, I have never employed a driver.

Exterior, interior, build, and plastics OK.After driving 1000 KMs. shifting gear from 2nd to 3rd was like doing exercise in a gym.

I bought nexon xz+ in April 2018...in 2019 may it's engine have major problem after running only 32000 km... Demanding new engine... Let's see what happene. Otherwise go to consumer Court...

Exterior Exterior design and build quality is an achievement for Tata and simply appreciatable. It's a attention magnet on road. People from Hatchbacks and Sedans are amazed at the size this car posses. Very good option considering day-to-day commuting, height of the vehicle, 209 ground clearance, mileage and safety. The car remains planted on high speeds and is very agile in handling.

Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) The 3 tone dashboard and interior makes it really very appealing to customer. The refinement in Steering, Clutch, gear shift and accelerator is very good. Driving in city and parking is very easy. The features are spot on and driving mode is really usefull.

Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox Driving in city mode makes the car very responsive to user accelerator inputs. Eco is miles muncher on highway. Sports is when you want to have fun, the feeling of the power from engine can be felt on every touch of accelerator. Currently getting 23.4 KMPL on diesel engine with mix of Highway and City driving. Gear box is very smooth and it's pleasure to have the gears displayed with shift indication assistance. Really a great function when you have different drive modes.

Ride Quality & Handling Ride quality is very comfortable. Bad roads are handled very well by the car. It gives high confidence to driver on highway. The handling is smooth with power steering and is very agile. Body roll is there but the tyres handle it pretty well. The parking is very easy due to dynamic guidelines and also doubles for straightening of front wheels.

Final Words Tata Motors is achieving new heights with quality and products it is coming up with. Take a test drive of this car and you will be surprised with Nexon. Tata motors is trying out to change their product image and Customer handling very well. I was amazed by the car buying process and efforts of Sales person to ease the over all process. They have delivered the car earlier than the waiting period, made me really happy.

Areas of improvement Earlier was driving Chevrolet UVA and the most missed thing is the storage spaces distributed all over the console. Probably, getting used to center console and storage in Nexon will reprogram me to it.

Will be trying out the Tata Motors service shortly and will update my experience in this review to check the advancements they have acheived in this.

Buying experience was good Tata Dealership's staff was cooperative at every level from selection to registration, Though Nexon looks big and feels like SUV it is as simple as to drive a regular car. Due to driving modes, drive becomes economical. Servicing and maintenance was reasonable and trustworthy Tata motors must improve must improve fit and finish of the vehicle since there are problems with gaps between boot lead and engine lead, gaps are uneven on both sides. White stripes through out the window lines looks Ugly .

I have nexon diesel top model and driven car around 13600 Kms and car is giving very good mileage in Eco Mode around 25km per litre. Please watch my video, how to get this mileage. Buying experience was good I wouldn't say excellent Riding experience is like awesome every time I enter the car I feel like I wanna skip all my routine and go out to some green mountain places In some ways it definitely resembles Indica but what's wrong in that the exterior is also awesome I have the orange dual tone when o bought the car no one had that color now pretty much every one is going for that Interior it's on a different class for the money you pay my personal favorite in this car is interiors

It's very good car from a manufacturer having worst customer care. Made a complaint about my new booking of nexon to Tata motors. No response from there. How we will invest 12 lakh on such irresponsible brands?

I had a great experience while buying this car also was very satisfied with the service. Nexon is best car in this segment for this price. The drive is smooth and cabin is quiet. It has a funky look which grabs the attention on the road. Its presence is felt while driving. Truly a head turner. The maintenance cost is low compared to other cars in the segment. There are many pros in the car than the cons. Best is the music system in the car. Also the mileage is great The comfort is good Car us ambiently quiet. Cons are that Tata should look on the fit and finish of the car.

My friend bought a new Nexon. It's an awesome car . Ride quality and Control is superb. Brakes and Handling is best in class. No other mini SUV is capable to compete Nexon. The Harman Music system with 6+speakers gives the feel of theatre like sound. Best in class Best in quality for Music Lovers. There's NOTHING TO SAY is missing in this vehicle. PERFECTLY DESIGNED & EQUIPPED.
