Very nice car. In this budget, no other company providing this many features. Their services are also superb. When we are riding car we feel very comfortable. We will enjoy the inbuilt audio system like home theater. Six air bags given for this model for our security.

I have driven 8000kms TT plus Petrol and have been playing with it for last 8 months. Few things I have observed. Car handling is just mind boggling. Build Quality is strong when you hop in and close the door, you will hear that thud. Pickup and Torque till you hit 120kms/hr is probably the best in this segment except Tata Tiago JTP if I am not wrong. (Let's not consider PoloGT in that scenario as it costs more than 2lakhs). Anyway freestyle starts shrinking when I touch 130 kms/hr plus. In city traffics, it actually helps you with that pickup and handling combination. Suspension which I like the most about my car, it is like when you put your finger inside cream and move around. It is really smooth. I experienced with other cars in this segment and did not find any better one. Safety features are also pretty strong as I have got 6 air bags, roll over protection. Others features are also really good, automatic headlamps, rain sensing wipers, tcs. Ground clearance is something brilliant. Infotainment is nice, get synched with Android and gets the job done pretty well. Legs' space is a plus. Driver gets a solid view of a road. Lights? Dear Ford, please start putting DRL LEDs for God's sake. In that case, we are pretty behind. Mileage? I live in a market area and need to take gullies, it gives me 9km/ltr over there and when I hit the main roads inside City, it gives me 10. Anyway will not cry over mileage as the highest selling car in this segment weighs 170-180kgs less than Freestyle. Yes, heavy is the sign of reliability. I mostly drive at the pick hours. Let's talk about some bad things. Boot space is pretty low and on top of that there is no 60-40 ratio in rear seats. Rear Seat comfort is horrible. Anyway what is the point of having good seat comfort with poor suspensions when the streets are filled potholes and manholes? Think! Let's not talk about Look and colour as tastes differ. I would love to have an inbuilt armrest. Need not to worry about spare parts prices as in this segment it is high for all cars for all middle-class people and Freestyle is slightly cheaper among them. Let the insurance take care of them. Buy 0D. Tyres, I have got GoodYear and would have been happier if it was Michellin or Bridgestone. Last but not the least when you are planning to buy a car, the first thing should be on your mind is engine and Ford has a very strong reputation for that, indeed.

Excellent about safety and premium features. But lacks in some things like, No hand grabber and bottle holder for rear seat. No hand rests for both front and rear seats. No projector headlamps and LED DRLs. No automatic transmission available.

Amazing powerful engine. Ultimate driving experience, the driving position is very good. Also it gives u hill assist and ARP which no other car in the segment give. Much better than i20 active, etios cross in terms of driving comfort. It's infotainment system is best in the segment. The new petrol engine is too powerful in it's class. Ground clearance is also good.

Done 3000 km in my new ford freestyle. It is an excellent value for money car. It is just like a car but is useful like an SUV. The handling and driving dynamics are excellent. You can drive it anyway you want. Coming to features, freestyle is the only car which is feature-rich in this price range. Suspension is not so stiff but not so soft. It will absorb all the potholes while giving a dynamic driving experience. Pros : 1. Nice and powerful 3 cylinder engine, which is good in power and FE. 2. Handling and driving dynamics 3. Features like 6 airbags, ESP, Auto HL, Rain sensing wipers, Auto AC, Touch screen with android auto and apple car play, voice command, etc... 4. Ground clearance and off road ability 5. Suspension 6. After Sale Service Cons : 1. Boot space is less compared to the competitions. But it is not an issue for me 2. Interior colour is full black and reading lamp is not there in rear side. So it is difficult to find things inside at night. 3. The power of headlamp is just ok and not so bright 4. Poor quality of rear parcel tray. 5. Spare wheel is of 14 inch steel which is having a speed rating of 80 kmh. Even in steel they might have given 15 inch wheel instead of 14. Final words A close competitor for freestyle is elite i20. But for this much features u have to give 1 lacs more for i20. More over the petrol engine in i20 is feeble even though it is a refined and smooth 4 cylinder motor. If you prefer fit and finish over drivability and you have 1 lac more to spend then go for i20. Otherwise go for freeatyle.

I am using this vehicle for last 3 months. I also have a baleno. When compare both. Freestyle is an amazing. Its only small suv suitable for indian roads. I buy the petrol variant titanium plus model. I got 17 km/ltr on highway and 12 km/ltr in city drive. Plus point of this car is we can easly handle and feel funny to drive. Only one negative is there is a lag in sudden pick up. But after that we can feel its power. My opinion is it is the best car in that segmant.

Purchased the car in Ruby Red, Tit+ 1.2l Petrol from Chennai Ford in November after plenty of research and evaluation. The main factor that led in choosing freestyle was the safety package that it comes with. No other models at this price range offers Front & Curtain airbags, ESP, TCS, ARP, and Hillhold control. Have been driving this around in the chennai city and the highways to Kerala and the hills in kerala as well. I should say that I'm not at all impressed with the petrol engine's performance. First 3 gear ratio is good, but after that omce you try to overtake a vehicle on the highway you just have to push it harder. It feels as if the car just can't move. Only two occupants in the car, and still from 4th gear onwards the car can't handle overtaking those extra long trucks that carry cars and bikes. I've 2012 Chevy Beat 999c and it is honestly too good when you hit the pedal to the metal. That chevy engine feels more trustworthy than the 1.2l dragon. Now 3800kms have passed and the whole Touchscreen and Sync system just won't boot up, it came up with lost ESP alarm twice. I felt like I've sacrificed a whole lot of the performance considering the safety features that i was impressed with. And the stock headlamps are useless. In the city though, the car performs okay. Bumper to bumper traffic doesn't give much of a tension. Alao with the proclaimed ground clearance it still manages to hit some of the speedbreakers. My advice driving the Petrol to new buyers is, if you are looking to buy this to take on highways please avoid this. Just driving around the city wouldn't be a problem. For the same price probably you could get better engine with VW and Hyundai.

This car has exceeded all my expectations. The build quality and safety features at this price range. The driving is smooth and especially when you push the car to higher speeds, it is just so smooth and there was no shake. I had like complete control over this. I had to shift to Bangalore from Kolkata Last Year Oct. So me and my wife decided to take the road rather than air. Also we packed all our things in our car so it was a bit overloaded. We took like 3 days to cover the distance. I faced not a single issue during this trip. The mileage was just amazing on the highway. Got around 16-18 approx with continuous AC on an overloaded car and there was no impact on Performance. Yes in City the mileage is not as good. But then it depends on a lot of other things too. Otherwise great car, superb performance. Literally no complain. The Plastic looks a bit towards the cheaper side but still is sturdy. The interior color and looks is very much dependent on individual choice. For me Chocolate Brown and Blackwork. Maintenance is pretty much standard, which is pretty much transparent on the Ford Website. Kudos to that! Another Issue i have is with the headlight. Its quite weak. I am thinking of getting it changed to HID. But ford should look into the stock headlights. Overall, absolutely in love with this car since 2018. Cheers! Happy & Safe Driving.

As promised, car was delivered on time. Delivery experience was quite pleasing. Handling of the car on highways and on bad roads is really exceptional. Purchased for the safety features that were on offer ABS, EBD,ESP,TCS and ARP with 6 airbags. Engine performance and pickup are very good. But mileage in city driving conditions is not that encouraging 12-13, but on highways it is good 17-18. Pros : Safety features, Engine performance, looks Cons : Bootspace, seat covers not available for top variant,
