The new Audi A8L facelift is available in two variants known as Celebration Edition and Technology.

Market introduction:

The facelifted Audi A8L was launched in India on 12 July.

Engine and specification:

Powering the Audi A8L facelift is a 3.0-litre, V6 turbo-petrol engine with a 48V mild-hybrid system in the 55 TFSI guise that produces 335bhp and 500Nm of torque. Paired with an eight-speed automatic transmission, power is sent to all four wheels via the brand’s Quattro all-wheel-drive (AWD) system.

Exterior design:

On the outside, the 2022 Audi A8L includes a new grille with chrome inserts and a chrome surround, tweaked front and rear bumpers with chrome inserts, matrix LED headlamps, front-door mounted ORVMs, new 19-inch, five-spoke dual-tone alloy wheels, refreshed LED tail lights, and an LED light bar on the boot lid.

Interior and features:

Inside, the new Audi A8L comes equipped with a dual-tone black and brown interior theme, a virtual cockpit, dual touchscreen systems (one each for the infotainment unit and AC controls), four-zone climate control, a centre console that stretches to the second row, a panoramic sunroof, eight airbags, a 360-degree camera, rear seat executive package, Heads-Up Display (HUD), a 23-speaker Bang and Olufsen sourced 3D surrounds sound music system, cruise control, and two 10.1-inch screens for the second-row occupants. Also on offer is all-wheel-steering, air suspension, and a Park Assist Plus system.

Colours:

The Audi A8L facelift is available in eight colours including Terra Grey, District Green, Firmament Blue, Floret Silver, Glacier White, Manhattan Grey, Vesuvius Grey, and Mythos Black. Also on offer are four interior options.

Seating capacity:

The 2022 Audi A8L has a seating configuration of four and five occupants.
