Bought the car new in 2012 and have done around 40000 kms. It has one of the most responsive engines I have driven but the interior could do with a little more. The back seat is a little cramped but ok for medium height to short people. The second best feature after the engine is the safety, since I got T Boned by a Micra and only minor injuries. If Volkswagen would have launched a new version of the Polo would definitely buy another one.

It's cool. Special for long drives and in city too. I have driven almost 3000 km. I really enjoying my driving. When I drive I feel like flying like airplane. I would like to give 5 star.

Despite the dated design of the car the VW Polo still is the industry champion when it comes to hatchbacks. The car has no match in the market. Yes the interior looks a bit carried forward but it gives you almost everything that you are looking for like Carplay -Android Auto, auto-fold mirrors, All One touch power windows, automatic A/C etc. Also it is a myth that it is expensive to maintain a VW. The car is not at all expensive to maintain and is pocket friendly. At the end of the day all I would like to say is that this car is for people who love driving and is a driver's car. It will make you smile every time you will revv it. What are you waiting for? Forget the Korean Cars. Bring home your VW Polo.

I drove the 1.2 Straight 3, and frankly, it is a little low on power. But I'm sure the 1.4 or the 1.6 would be better in this regard. I don't know about the others, but I loved the grunt of the engine. It feels nice. The handling was as close to perfect as you can be. It felt stable and obedient. The steering was exactly as heavy as it should be. Not too light, and not too heavy. I have driven only a handful of cars, and the Polo is right up there among the best of them when it comes to handling. Braking along with Handling is the best attribute of the driving experience offered by the Polo. It felt very stable, yet very exciting. It never showed any signs of irregularity. In conclusion, the Polo is the cheapest you can go, if you want to experience German Automotive perfection. The lack of power can be offset by going for a better engine option.

It's the best and i like it a lot except for its a 4 seater there is not much space for 5 people and there is no rear seats ac. If you have no problem with that then it's definitely the best car and absolutely value for money It also has all windows automatic up and down which is great and useful.
