      I don't know what is wrong with the car, today is the third time it has stopped shifting gears. We have to tow for the third time in a span of 3 6 months. I was so proud while buying like made in India car and all. But now I regret this. So many said don't but tata cars, they are not reliable. But I insisted. Now I am regretting big time. Every time I start I will be worried whether this will start or not. Worst car. Please avoid this car at any cost. Better avoid tata cars. They re not reliable. You will be in the middle of the road with your family most of the time. The hell with this. I have video proofs and service proofs. Have sent Instagrammed them as well. Letz sees what they gonna do.

    • Never again. Mistakes are bound to happen!

      Car stopped working on the 3rd day after delivery showing engine locked symbol. Towed the car to TASS and the car is with them for 21st day. After 1 week of their hit and try, they have found out the issue with key set. Waited for another week to get the new keyset to arrive. After replacing the keyset, the issue still persisted.

    • Looks can be deceptive

      I bought this car when the Nexon was peaking 3 years ago, the hype was great and matched the looks, features and price. However when you invest in a car with a budget of 9 lakhs you expect a trouble free period of atleast 5 years. However its just the 3rd year now and the engine has been giving multiple problems and recurring issues whether it is a nasty sound that never stops or constant beeping of the Auto transmission indicator. Tata did manage to have a splendid media blitz thanks to the Nexon but in the long run the quality of the car is abysmal. My old mechanic was right in the end, Tata cars don't last beyond 3 years period.

      1. Buying experience is worst. 2. Okay okay Riding 3. Engine performance is very good, but over heating and noise. 4. Tata has to improve servicing part, almost unexperienced service managers. Pros: Nexon Build quality. Superb interiors. Accident safe care. Front and back seating and leg room Boot space. AC one of the industry best Steering Cons: Not city drive car Mileage keep on reducing, as servicing increases. All parts are from China, they are pretty costly. Problem with suspension and wobbling. ABS will not work properly in sports mode need to apply pressure. Vibration, Tata has to improve on this part. AMC Is of no use, don't ever try to purchase

    • Engine heating problems to be addressed

      I purchased Nexon in 2018 and drove 15 k kms so far, vehicle is good in styling, comfort and safety. But I faced engine heating issue and vehicle was stalled on highway, spent 28 k so far. But company does not want to replace engine with excuse of warranty. I will recommend not to buy any automatic variants as company is totally clueless. Also, don't take road side assistance as its pure cheating of the customers.

    • TATA NEXON XMA IS LIKE A BEAUTIFUL, AND UNDERSTANDING WIFE, NOT EXPENSIVE

      to all your points i have the following explanation , owning a NEXON XMA 1.2 TURBO for that value is great, IT IS LIKE HAVING A BEAUTIFUL,WONDERFUL, UNDERSTANDING WIFE, LIKE WHILE I AM GOING UP HILL WITH SHARP TURNS, I JUST TO SPORT MODE WITH UP HILL ASSIST, she, the car { both fell confident} responds and the steering too very sensitive{ unless u are fan of old accent huyndai} it responds well. given 215/ R16 tyres potholes at 100 kph don't matter, Giver 215 r16 tyres with 209 Ground clearance makes you really comfortable off-roading too THOUGH I MISS 4 4 WHEEL DRIVE, I have driven about 13000 km in 18 months on high way{ touching 140kph } at times , never ever felt safety issue as my wonderful wife understands my guy is good at driving as well the car is rated NCAP5 , THE SAFEST , I recollect me and my wife driving on highway ay 100 odd kph with heavy rain and wind, TO TELL YOU I WAS IMAGING A DUET WITH MY WIFE SITTING ON BONNET, ADD the GREAT HARMAN KARDON AUDIO,8 speakers noiseless audio, HOPE you get the scene guys, City driving is very easy to manoeuvre but the downside is 9.5 km/ ltr , I don't think a vehicle of 1260 kg weight can do better, ON HIGHWAY THE FUEL EFFICIENCY IS 18 TO 20 KM/ LTR I SUGGEST u drive in City mode in CITY, on highway drive in CITY MODE, SHIFT Eco mode while overtaking SHIFT TO SPORT MODE, It is more pleasure on high way with ur high-quality music, FEW CAUTIONS, 1, the rearview mirror is small, so a little difficult backside traffic 2, " A" PILLAR IS TOO THICK TO PROTECT YOU IN COLLUSION, SO WE NEED TO BE WATCHFUL OF WHO IS COMING FROM RIGHT OR LEFT TOO, KEEP WATCHING ALL 3 MIRRORS, 3, Breaking distance is 25 mts when you are at 100 kph MAINTENANCE IS MINIMAL IF YOU HAVE TAKEN 4 YR WARRANTY AND HAVE BUMPER TO BUMPER INSURANCE have fun driving NEXON, DONT FORGET TO WEAR SEAT BELTS OTHERWISE AIRBAGS WONT DEPLOY IN CASE OF COLLUSION, HAVE FUN, SATYA adphotographer@gmail.com ENJOY YOUR RIDE

      Very good car in terms of performance but viewing is not good as other cars due to big a pillar. It's a big issue and due to bad view I met with an accident twice. Otherwise breaking and handling is very good
