Choosing TATA NEXON The first thing is choosing this car over its rivals. The main reason for me, buying this Tata Nexon is the cost of ownership and also the cost of maintenance. The top end version of the car came at a price of 10.80 lacs on road which was the fairest deal in this category and moreover its a TATA brand so the reliability is far better and more over the only Indian Car to get a 5 star NCAP rating. Drive The main thing is car which makes you love that car, is the drive which it offers. Nexon is very much near to 100%. After buying the car, the new car josh was there for around 30 days and we will be experimenting many things in the car and we will like its features when we use it. After 30 days when you start using the car for daily needs and our routine starts with the car, that is the time we should discover the Joy of driving. Nexon is a perfect car for the city traffic and also for highway cruising. The steering is very soft, which makes it feel like a hatchback to drive but the soft steering gives a bit nervous feel on highway cruise. Suspension is great for the bumpy roads as most of Chennai roads are always bumpy. Thanks to the six speed gearbox which puts a smile on my face in means of mileage. Legroom is pretty decent and dashboard feels very much latest with Apple car play and Auto A/C. Looks The SUV looks and high seating position is the biggest advantage of the car and the great ground clearance makes it a winner is all types of city roads. The over all shape looks like an egg which is a little awkward but the the gadget, gizmos and safety makes that forget. The new version of the car which has been show cased with the EV launch is still more appealing that the one I own. Maintenance Will give out a five star with my eyes closed as the maintenance cost is very very cheap and the service intervals is also pretty decent. The cost of Mud flap set was just 400. Even the local after market brand would cost this much. So we need not go to after market places when we can purchase the genuine parts in more or less the same cost. Tata Nexon owners have an edge over the rival cars as it is the only car in the Indian segment with 5-star safety ranking. It is a value for money car in every prospect be it suspension or driving experience. Fuel economy is great out in the city and on the highway as well. The Harman music system is another gem of the vehicle. Nexon comes with different modes of city mode power mode etc it gives you an upper hand when compared to other cars and gives the best driving experience. Overall it is the best car in this segment.

Exterior I fell in love with it as soon as I saw it though I was apprehended  because of the legacy issue with Tata motors however its new story and it will take them to new heights.

Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) This is by far the better among all the cars in this segmnet. Be it Brezza or ecosports,  NEXON outperforms all the cars.

Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox I fell in love with it as soon as I saw it though I was apprehended  because of the legacy issue with Tata motors however its new story and it will take them to new heights.

Final Words BUY IT don't think a lot. This is value for money. Inexpensive amongst all the cards. Don't listen to any neative reviews they are more driven by the past of tata motors however they also own Jaguar, Land Rover (JLR) brand and they are using their technology to build new tata cards.

Looks, Refinement, Power and ConfortNot as such

Exterior It looks amazingly distinct from traditional TATA vehicles. Finally, something which do not look like an Indica. Color combination is just perfect. The 4 color schemes looks kool from outside. Side view is the best view of the car. 

Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Driver and codriver will have no issue. However, 3 people at the back will be overwhelming. Comfotable for 2. There are so many storages however a few of them are not aligned properly. Specailly, I miss one easy access coffe cup holder.

The wide blind sometimes blocks drivers view, so you will have to be a bit careful.

Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox Engine performance in diesel is good. You get awesome power switching from Eco to Sports or City to Sports mode. Once at decent speed you can switch to Eco and enjoy the ride. There is minimal engine sound in the inside. I have got a maximum of 28 kmpl. Gearbox sometimes gets jagged so you will have to release and apply clutch in sync to get the best out of it.

Ride Quality & Handling Very smooth vehicle and ride quality is good. Even on bumpy roads you will not feel uncomfortable. I drive 70 kms everyday sometimes with my 2 months old kid. He calmly sleeps on complete journey. Turning radius and steering handling is comfortable

Final Words Go for it, if you are looking for a nice looking, mileage efficiant SUV. Personal suggestion will be to go for top 10 to get the best out of this car.

Areas of improvement Vehicle needs to improve to make gearbox smoother. The connectnext system sometimes deletes saved devices on its own. So, please update the console.

I think it will be better car for me in terms of safety and build quality and I also experienced the I system of this car. And it's totally amazing, good car, also please suggest me a better mini SUV or SUV for me in terms of safety and build quality, price under RS 1300000. Ground clearance should also be there.

Ride quality and suspension is superb. Music system is fantastic and provides very good stability while cornering. Sometimes power lags around 2000 rpm but advisors told me that problem will be solved after ecu update. Cannot say anything about reliability as of now but I do feel confident about ownership as Tata is improving by bounds and leaps.

This is for the first time that Tata is stepping in the sub-compact SUV segment. The company has started a new launch by launching Tata Tiago, Tata Hexa, and Tata Tigor. Now Tata Nixon also has a lot of expectations from the company. We drive Tata Nexon and tried to know how much it is ready to compete in the new SUV market.

In my opinion tata must think about interiors.Its not look like premium car from inside, ecosport is better in this front. Seat quality/ Cushioning is also the major concern.Overall it's a good car. Cruze control is missing in all the variants. Leather steering will give a premium look. Overall if TATA will improve the interiors. No one can beat NEXON in this segment

We we're planning creta earlier then we took test drive of Nexon , we loved the Dynamics if car is really a mini power pack with combination of power and mileage I just want to share ek din Mai ambala to Delhi travel kar raha tha and I was trying me maximize average u won't believe my Nexon gave me an average of 28 know/l Which is more than enough for a beast like Nexon Driving account to techometer not above 90kmpr Gare shift according to techometer
