I am using Nano lx for 2 months, and I found people stops and stare and shouts happily at nano whenever they see. If i had a BMW or audi or benz, nobody had noticed me such a loud. When you are inside this beauty, people treat you like a celebrity. But I had a unpleasent experience also. People think its 1 lac car even I paid more than 2 lacs.
AC is most great thing in this car, very poweful than my Accent Tornado. mileage of 15 is very bad, but TATA dealer said that once it crosses 1000 km reading things will be smooth. ya that s right as now its sounds like a car, not like a auto as few week before. But as no parts available, one has to drive carefully otherwise if once in repaire shop, you have to wait for parts long. Never buy accessories which are very costly and 10 thousand cd player is an example.
Space is more than anything I like in this car. But you have to get two set of car pads because it has twice floor space as seats are elevated. No front engine means all front space is available to stratch your legs. hight of car is like a tata Sumo and can view entire surrounding traffic. Once you are in This car, you never seat in Any Sedan as you feel in a dump.
This car worth more than 4 Lacs. And the plastic smell (Feel of a new car) is still there after 2 months. Same as unique feel. The Hype created by this car is more than any other.
15 kmpl is very very dissappointment though 2nd and 3rd gears are mostly used.
Never tried on highways still and during 1st service, Tata man drove upto 70 and assured that after 1000 km, you can drive past 100. I wont as its a tallboy and no load at front.
Attraction, Style, Space, AC, SizeFuel efficeincy, 15kmpl is not good for such a small engine. No parts available, Accessories costlyExterior/Styles

I am using ford fiesta and this car I took for my wife rather than going for moped due safety and limited travelling..trust me I feel this car more comfortable than fiesta in city drive...just loved it For it's price tag, fuel economy and less maintainance cost.
I took this car in april 2014 till date used around 5400kms at avg of roughly 21 (70% city drive and 30% highway drive...
Exterior
Yes....it's one of the smallest car from outside but it surprises with inner boot space..loved it..
Interior (Features, Space & Comfort)
I had bad perception about this car not having inside space before going for testdrive but a tall man of six feet like me can comfortably seats. I felt twist has better interior compared to its privious vesions.
Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox
Performance wise Great I would say...mileage as mentioned above I get around 18-20 in city drive and 23-26 on highways including ghat areas. Best is just pay 3200rs for AMC which covers cars maintainance for 20k kms or four years..
Ride Quality & Handling
Best for city drive....though I had used this car for long drives as wel and surprisingly car deliverd more than my expectations. I used it for asthavinayak darshan which is about 850kms cosist of good highways, ghats and rough roads. Drive was very comfortable...I vistied these eight places in span of two days and drove at average speed of 70-80... Then second long trip was 250kms from Pune to mahabaleshwar and return wch has two ghats.
Final Words
One Of the best car for this price range which will not disappoint you
Areas of improvement
Yea I miss the pick up while overtaking on highways...and pick up gets significantly down if ac of car is on...
another improvement could be of fuel tank capacity wchich shloud be higher.
P.S. I perceived this car as one of the cheap and waste car as per rumors But i after using it for more than 5k Kms I can say I was absolutely wrong and this is one the best value for money product u can opt for City drive.
Fuel economy...maintainance...easy to drive in city and highways..Petrol tank could be of more capacity...Exterior/Styles

Purchased Tata Nano-LX three months back after using Tata Indica DLS for 2 years. So far did 7000 kms at an fuel average of 28km/l & 25 km/l with a/c. Had no any problem while driving on good highways particularly at night since it has very good headlight flash and secondly, the opposit coming vehicles won't underestimate whereas in morning hrs they do. I take my car very rear in city. As compare to Altos,Zens, it is a new experience to ride aTata Nano.
Exterior Good.
Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Spacious, Good comfort.
Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox Relativelly good as it is 2 cylinder engine with excellent fuel economy & easy gear shifting.
Ride Quality & Handling Can be driven comfotable @ 80 km/hr on good highways.
Final Words Overall a affordable car, never forget getting @ Rs.2.30 lacs with A/C, centerlocking, tubeless tyre &a fuel economy of 28 kms/ltr (Rs2.50/km).
Areas of improvement Suspension.
Good fuel economy, comfortable long drive on good roadsPoor suspension.Exterior/Styles

its the perfect car, i have purchased it in Sep 2014, approx 2 months before writing this review. earlier i was having wagon R VXI,
I got influenced by Nano, only by once sitting in the it, it seems so spacious that i cannot explain. I had made a Noida to shimla trip, with my wife and 3 yrs baby, average speed was 85 km, Nano gave me fuel amazing fuel economy of 26.5 kmpl. further rear wheel drive gave a amazing performance, which a front wheel drive cannot give in hill areas. the drive wheels never skids at slopes (whenever you have to start from rest on a uphill) thanks to rear wheel drive. the small turning radius gives you confidence of parking your car in the smallest possible space. people gets astonished when they see the parking ability of nano in small space.
next time i had a another visit (noida to yamumanagar) this time i decided to churn max fuel economy and kept my nano at 70 km speed on highway. Nano gave me a amazing fuel economy of 30.5 kmpl (to & fro 435 kms).the average was cross checked by filling the fuel tank and the electronic reading of the Nano. both results are almost similar.
In normal traffic it gives me a average of 18-20 kmpl.
Any person who sits in my car, gets impressed by the features at a such a small cost and fuel economy. and the turning in noida, delhi traffic further adds to it.
