I bought it from pre owned show room on 2014 as it was a second hand car..then it was quite good and its very good for rough riding it has very good cabin place and engine performance...but not so good in comfort as well as suspension...As the engine was cr4 it had many issue with its engine..Ac was also properly not working... overall it was a good experience to ride indigo...

HI MY NAME IS PRANAV SO I HAVE THIS CAR NOW.I bought AT MAY MONTH WITH SECOND HAND AT 3LAKHS AND RIDING IT'S RIDING IS GOOD AND PICKUP SO GOOD AND DETAILS IT'S LOOK IS GOOD WITH BEAUTIFUL TAIL LIGHT AND HEADLIGHT I LIKE IT'S INTERIOR AND COMING TO SERVING AND MAINTENANCE. SEE I bought AT SECOND HAND THEN ALSO I DIDN'T HAVE ANY SERVICING.AND MAINTENANCE IS SO GOOD AND LAST PROS AND CONS SO I DIDN'T HAVE ANY PROS AND CONS

Iam owning this stupid vehicle and the suspension is very bad so that an bullkart will be more comfortable

Areas of improvement suspension very weak

After the completion of 1 year it is the most stupid vehicle...

If the vehicle is dropped in some bumbs it shakes inside as an earthquake..

iam owning eglx petrol version and the fuel efficiency is also worst...

and the problem was reported to the service engineers and the engineers are stating that the vehicle's make itself that'll and you cant expect more from it!!!!

in highways all other vehicles aregoing in top speed and this stupid vehicle is worst even an cycle will go overtaking it...

HAI MY NAME IS PRANAV SO I HAVE TO TELL ABOUT MY INDIGO ECS SO FIRST BUYING EXPERIENCE WE BUYED AT SECOND HAND AT 3,90,000 IT WAS A GOOD CAR SO SECOND RIDING EXPERIENCE IT WAS REALLY GOOD RIDING COMFORTABLE SO THIRD IT LOOKS SO STYLISH THE HEADLIGHT,DOOR HANDLES,TAIL LIGHT IT WAS GOOD AND VERY.......GOOD PERFORMANCE SO FOURTH THERS IS NO DAMAGE ALREADY WE BUYED AT SECOND HAND BUT NO SERVICING THE ENGINE AND SO. SO FIFTH PROS AND CONS THE ADVANTAGES ARE VERY BIG.BUT I LIKE COMFORT,FEATURES,ENGINE, BUT THERE IS ONE THING I DONT LIKE IS THERE IS NO AIRBAGS VERY BAD OK IF YOU LIKE REPLY ME. I bought my car in the year 2011 and drove around 150000 km and its still runnning like a new car, very comfortable and low maintenance, Just want to say that it is amazing, spacious, safe, powerful and fuel efficient car. Now I m die hard fan of tata vehicle, thanks tata for such an awesome vehicle.

Exterior Excellent,owsome looks, turns heads at the signals with royal color, rear view is fantastic and great designed tail lamps gives good image.

Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Excellent space and leg room, boot space is very good.

Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox I bought a new car so I hv not yet paid for maintaining it, bt till now it looks to b affordable in all aspects, it is giving me mileage of 18 on highways with ac on and 14 in city( although it is difficult to measure mileage in city I hv done it specifically by empting tank n filling just 1 litre and driving in the city.

Ride Quality & Handling Its ok, good one, little roughness in 2 nd gear.

Final Words Value for money for middle class, for first timer in sedan class it is the choice.

Areas of improvement Interiors mainly dashboard, and some changes in steering is needed, and plastic quality used inside needs to be finer.

Exterior As expected for the price paid

Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) The interior space is Ok and you can strech your legs a bit...and that can very well be done on a couch too...this car needs better interiors...feels like your are driving a commercial truck.

Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox POOR, Oil leakage from Engine after 70000 kms, coolant pipe leakage, replaced pipe 2 times. Cost was 8000 per service.

Ride Quality & Handling Poor.

Final Words If you are desparate enough for a cheap car then this might be the option. But there are better cars then this in the similar range. I have to think 10 times before taking my family along in this car. You never know when the car will stop abruptly.

Areas of improvement Needs a total tranformation. Think 100 times before buying this car. I have got stuck amidst atleast 7-8 times because of short circuits, fuse blown up, Timing belt tore apart and name what not. The servicing takes minimum of 8 days as most of the times the spares are out of stock.

Only spacepoor electrical components, overall finish, engine quality

 

Exterior Exterior is good. side mirrors contains indicator lamps.the car's ultimate looks never truly speaks out that what is its original price.the head lamps and tail lamps are funky and trendy.

Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Leg space is good,it has comfortable seats. The cd player is good,but interior more or less backdated and cant really match with the quality of the exterior. Power windows is present in this version.

Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox No idea of the fuel economy, engine performance. please comment on the fuel economy of the car in the city as well as in the highway.

Ride Quality & Handling No idea about thee riding quality and handling.

Final Words Finally it can b said that it is worth buying, I mean 2 say that its true value to ur money.but if the engine quality specially the petrol variants and the interiors are developed,then the tata indigo could b one of the black horses in the section of mid sized sedans.

Areas of improvement Heard that the pickup is of very poor grade, sedans, specially the mid sized ones should have a little more pick up and boast of a better class engine than the hatchbacks. else y people would go for a sedan wen his purposes are satisfied by a hatchback.

i like the exterior as well as the interior....it has a good leg space..........but i have mixed feelings regarding the low pickup and low fuel economy of the car..................

I bought it very exictedly by seeing the add. It was one of the top adds at that time. The smooth steering and ground clearance. Loved it alot. When riding it at 120km/ph it seems that yeah I ride it. Controlling was too good and car was having less maintenance. It good car for middleclass family.
