I bought the 2020 Nexon petrol with lot of expectation. Many of my friends advised me to stay away from tata cars and now I repent. The car looks good and is very stable in ride, however, there are several quality issues. At the outset itself, there was an alignment issue with the left side doors. It was fixed only at second service. After a few hundred kilometres the steering developed high vibration whenever the fan is running. Still pending for replacement. Then the engine oil started leaking. And to my horror, the body panel of the 10-month-old car started rusting near the doorknob area in all four doors. The service centre was very friendly, but Despite requesting for a full door replacement, the TATA superiors just gave instruction for a repaint of the affected area. Now I am left praying that the rust may not return after the warranty period, then I may have to shell out huge amount to replace all the doors. It is pathetic. Don't buy and stay away.

Riding experience is very poor. The suspension setup is not good. Makes lot of noise. As soon as I took delivery within 10min a cracking sound start in suspension. I visited 15 times' to Tata service centre 5 times to Worli Mumbai 4 time to Thane and 6 times to Bhiwandi still Tata motors cannot figure out the problem.... The car makes a lot of noise ... Very bad experience... Within 1000 km I'm facing this problem the replace many parts still no sign of solutions it's completely a case of a manufacturing defect and not the services centre advice me it's a natural noise... And get adapt to it....but I cannot I'm an experienced driver this is my 5th car so very well known how the car should sound while driving and that to a brand new car... So advance for all don't go for it go for other brands...I wrote a complaint to all resources but still disappointment... Now trying to sell the car... If an employee from Tata is reading this please try to fix the problem for me...

Infotainment is disappointing, the response, the usability is below average. There is no other interior color options available other than white which is very difficult to maintain. Exterior finishing is below average so is the design. There is a lot of scope for improvement. In fact I hate this design and wish they change it completely, at least the rear design. There are many pieces which are there for no purpose on the body. Interior space utilization could be lot better, no one uses the drive mode and there is no need of that knob in that place. That has to go. Charging a mobile is not easy. The rear vent is useless. Also I would love to have a flat floor like Altroz. Gear display is faulty in many new models at >80kph, for example at around 78 it would display 6, at 90 it would display 4, at 95 it displays 5 again etc. Service centers are not at all well managed, they don't listen to your issues. They are there only for the water washes. Even that too they do it with patches. If I have to buy a car now, with the experience that I had in last 1 year, I would never buy a TATA again because of the above issues, especially with the after sales services. They are incompetent, as good as non-existent. I think, now onwards we will see the downfall of the TATA brand if the experience is not enhanced, especially with the rise of the Korean twins.

Having given top priority for safety rather than mileage and other features, we shortlisted 3 compact SUV cars under 15 lakh INR onroad price segment. We finalised Tata Nexon petrol automatic high-end without opting for sunroof, cruise control and leather seats. Basically driven by the instinctive brand loyalty for Tata and inspired by their concern for the safety of the customers in getting the 5 star international safety rating, this Nexon xza plus was finalised. Our main usage is city drive on daily basis, that is about one hundred km minimum and occasional long drive on highway. Excellent space, majestic road presence, perceivable muscle power and smooth drivability, confidence on safety features, stability at any speed... Nexon offers whatever is available with its pricier counterparts in the around twenty lakh INR segment. When it comes to bumper to bumper traffic driving the driver has to be extra cautious about the vehicle in front of Nexon, to control sudden jerks. If the AMT is upgraded to CVT or IMT if not DSG, this beast becomes totally untamable in the class. 350 litres boot space is fair enough. Tata's uncompromising build quality outweighs Nexon rivals. After sale service will be hopefully good!

Very good vehicle. The Pros are weigh better than Cons. Did multiple test drive and compared different Brands. The pricing is just OK... XZA would be a best option. Not I'm AMT though. Best comfort and Handling along with Indian TATA branding. No comparison for the trust factor. Better dealership experience and offers will make TATA No. 1

In the compact SUV segment, Nexon looks refreshing as compared to honda-WRV,Hyundai venue, maruti brezza and few more. 1.Driving experience: Nexon scores100% in this segment. It has good pickup and silent cabin. Automatic has little lag but can be neglected as compared with CVT engines. 2. Interior: With most of the features are few dashboard on buttons reducing complexity. this helps in driving as you concentrate on driving more. Ingress to vehicle for rare door is little uneasy for fat people. Space is good as compared to competitor cars. Utility spaces could have been better provided like instead of half littre bottles, 1 litre standard bottles space should have been provided. 3.milege city 12kmpl, highway 17.5kmpl My uncle's same Nexon model gets 15kmpl on highway while 20 on highway. But I am happy with it. 4. Service and Support : Tata needs to create awareness with customers with Apps they have created so that customer can do benefit max. Sales person needs little more professionalism. Till now my free services experience was good.
