MG Hector [2021-2023] User Reviews

MG is fraud. None of the features match quality assured in advertisement. Poor after sales service. Extremely low fuel efficiency. Arrogant staff and no grievance redressed mechanism.

I purchased MG Hector smart model diesel in 2020.Car performance and specifications is very good. Spacious and comfortable car. But mileage is very poor, It gives11 km in city and 14-15 in high way. Rear AC vent is not working properly, Voice commands are not recognised properly.Yesterday my car suddenly brake down because in city i am changing the gear 2nd to 3rd, suddenly clutch pedal goes down freely and not working in the middle of the traffic so my car suddenly stopped. Immediately I informed to show room and they pickup the vehicle. Finally they informed to me that clutch plate completely repaired and they are telling you are not driving properly. Minimum changing period of clutch plate is 40,000 to 50,000 kms, it is my fourth car i have never seen with in 25000 kms clutch replacement.so it was the very bad experience that I had faced. My suggestion is don't buy this car because there is no time period of servicing and related to performance they are cheating customers and selling these type of vehicles. So guys don't buy MG Hector because this is my bad experience which I faced in between city traffic.

Very bad mileage against what claimed. In DCT the pick up is also is very poor and when you complaint on this to the service people they say you are lucky that you get 7, others are getting only 5 mileage.

This car is first and last in my favorite vehicle's, interior amazing, every person is very excited to sit in the car, drive is very smooth and long drive is best option in this car. All colors are very attractive, I love this car

The buying experience was good but generally I would not recommend this car for city driving. Clutch is hard and even worse is the fact that it is bound to fail within 15000 to 20000 km in city traffic. Air conditioning is not upto the mark and mileage is also just about average. The "Internet Inside" is nothing but a gimmick. Only thing good about MG Hector is looks and the seating comfort.

Worst experience with this car. It has very poor Engine in just 15" flood water it got hydro locked and had to toe to the service center ,very bad experience with service center they are forcing us to dismantle engine even though it is possible to start engine manually ,they are more interested is making huge bills rather than solving it easily ,even though I have full insurance but that don't give leverage to service center to dismantle engine and make huge bill for small problem, they have very low quality engine.

2 yrs. experience Pros- Good space Good music system Good pickup of the car Mileage on highway :16-18 Km/l Cons- Gears are very stiff and hard Suspension is very bad . The passenger gets jerk every time on a bad road which make it uncomfortable. Touch screen is bad. There should be manual switches too.

Cons : Great, But Very Expensive In Base Model... It's Better To Buy Super, Smart, Sharp If Possible Or Try For Another car... Pros : Space For Life Great Interior & Exterior Amazing Design Value For Money @MgMotorsin

This SUV is for the comfort and enjoyment. The buying experience is great. You can feel the difference from Tata and Hyundai. People treat you well. Riding experience is smooth. This car is not for racing and road competition. Looks are obviously great. Some app based features are not working but its is not required. Ventilated seat are greatest plus.
