Verdict: A fantastic, fun-to-drive daily commuter loaded with tech, though the rear seat experience leaves a bit to be desired. What I Like (The Good) Engine & Gearbox: The 1.0L Turbo engine provides all the power I need, and the DCT (Dual Clutch Transmission) is excellent—smooth and responsive. Driving Experience: It is genuinely fun to drive, whether for the daily commute or family outings. The driving position is commanding, offering a great view of the road ahead. Tech Package: The smart features are a highlight. The BlueLink connectivity isn't just a gimmick; it has been genuinely worth having. What Could Be Better (The Bad) Rear Space: The shoulder room in the back is tight. It’s a bit of a squeeze for three passengers. Rear Passenger Experience: The positioning of the rear seat could be better. Passengers have also complained about having a limited view of the road, leading to a feeling of being "isolated" from the front passengers. Summary Overall, I really like my 2019 Venue. It shines as a driver's car thanks to the punchy Turbo-DCT combo and great ergonomics.
