    • Very bad decision to buy Ecosport AT, stopped on the road after 90 KM drive

      I brought Ecosport AT on 29th and it breakdown on 30th. The vehicle ...stopped on road several times and scratched by some other car. I felt like Ford is cheating the people by selling cars with duplicate parts. The service centre replace the PCM and cables on the new car and they deny to give me the proper repair record. The customer care from the Ford offered a free 3rd year extended warranty, but that I was paid already during the car purchase. I have communicated with Customer care several time to get an proper answer, but never replied. My experince from Ford is very bad and don't buy any cars from such company who don't pay attention to customer needs and satisfaction. They are ignoring the complaints and not answering properly to my emails and calls. The Dealer is helpless and they given a temporary car during repair. Once Ford took the money, you are lost.NothingVery bad response on customer problems

    • Not to be bought without a Test-drive

      Exterior

      Attractive exteriors, 2nd best in it's class & Price range. Rear Bumper applique is quite childish. Needs improvement. Paint quality is not good, as compared to VW. Head-lights should be at least projector-type & with better power. At Highway, you can't drive this car easily without the HIDs.

      Interior (Features, Space & Comfort)

      Poor plastics, as usual with Ford technology. Smoke interiors dont impress like Beige. Rear A.C. vent is required at least in this car. 

      Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox

      The most disappointing thing in the car. 90% of the customers won't go for it, if the dealer provides a test-drive.

      Although up-to-date with the specs (1500cc, 103BHP, Dual Clutch Gear-box, Sports-mode), still the Engine disappoints largely on Pick-up & Mileage.

      I own this car since 10 months, but couldn't click even a single pic, as it couldn't make me happy for even a single day.


      Ride Quality & Handling

      Very Good. You won't get tired very easily. But the rear seat needs at least an A. C. vent.

      Final Words

      Poor performance, backed by poorer service backup.

      Areas of improvement  

      Engine, Transmission & Above all, the Company should have at least some intention to satisfy the Indian customer. You will be mainly at the disposal of Dealer & the Jr. Executives of FORD INDIA customer care. Ford Sr. Engineer / Management never talk even in the worst scenarios.

    • Auto Transmission, Logic sucks..

      Look at the running Ecosport, without showing "D" for being in Drive mode & all kind of lights.. glowing up, this is after giving the vehicle for 2 rounds of service. It seems like Ford India have not trained their service engineers in servicing the vehicle properly.. and taking the customer for a ride.

      It makes you feel like you are an amateur driver, with sudden clutch release, acceleration & vehicle does out of control.. I'm now scared to take this vehicle on highway.. ANY ACCIDENT to my vehicle.. I'm going to take Ford India to the court .. for poorly designing the Auto Transmission / Clutch & Gear change logic.

      After raising the issue with Ford India & asking them to assign a new service centre.. they don't understand & keep on asking the same vendor to have it serviced. Please wake up Ford India, if you intend to be a long term player in India, need to improve the service.

      Superb model and nice to drive and very good experience to drive ecosport. I love this car very much And after 3-6 month I am going to buy this car. I love cars sport look.. Nice and very good car.

      Exterior BEAUTIFUL AND FUTURISTIC, EVEN AFTER THREE YEARS OLD. STILL LOOK ENERGETIC.

      Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) ITS TIME TO INCLUDE TOUCH SCREEN, REVERSE PARKING CAMERA, CENTRE ARM REST, AUTOMATIC WIPER & HEADLIGHTS, GOOD QUALITY INTERIOR PLASTIC.

      Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox GOOD ENGINE, GEAR BOX IS MAINTENANCE FREE FOR 10YRS ( CANNOT EXPECT MORE). GEAR BOX IS NOT AS RESPONSIVE AS VW DSG BUT YES ITS MAINTENANCE FREE AND DOES ITS JOB. WAY BETTER THEN AMT USED IN MORE EXPENSIVE AND CHEAP CARS.

      Ride Quality & Handling I DID 160km/hr PLUS WITH FULL COMPLEMENT AND MAX ACCOMODATING LAGGAGE. VERY STABLE AT SUCH SPEED. BRAVO STEERING, WEIGHTS SUITABLY AT HIGH SPEEDS. BREAKING IS SUPERB, BRINGS TO ZERO EFFECTIVELY BUT ITS NOT CONSISTENT AT EARLY TRAVELS. YES!, YOU BREAK HARD IN PANIC AND YOU NOT LOSE CONFIDENCE. THANKS TO GOD, AT ONE INCIDENT BCOS OF ESC AND TRACTION INPUT I DIDNT MET WITH AN ACCIDENT. HAD SIMILAR SITUATION WITH SWIFT AND CAR WAS WAY OUT OF CONTROL. LUCKILY FIRST GOD SAVED , SECOND TIME ECOSPORT.

      Final Words VERY GOOD PACKAGE SPECIALLY AUTOMATIC MODEL. ROADS ARE FILLED WITH IDIOTS WHO TAKE PRIDES IN RASH DRIVING OR THEY THINK, THEY KNOW HOW TO DRIVE. FOR SUCH LIKELY TIMES DO INVEST IN CAR WITH MAX SAFETY IN THAT SEGMENT. TILL DATE NO CAR GIVES YOU ESC,TRACTION CONTROL,HILL HOLD AND SIX AIR BAGS EXCEPT FORD AT SUCH PRICE TAGS. MY ECOSPORT IS 3 YRS OLD.

      Areas of improvement MORE REAR SEAT SPACE, ADD SUNROOF, BETTER PLASTIC TO FORD STANDARD, MORE GADGETS AND ACCESSORIES REQUIRED.

      ESC,TRACTION CONTROL, HILL HOLD FUNCTION, 6 AIR BAGS&VERY GOOD BREAKIN.INTERIOR PLASTIC, 3 ADULTS DIFF TO ACCOMODATE AT REAR SEAT
