Ford ecosport was my dream car and after purchasing, I am fully satisfied this superb mini suv. Styling and performance of this car is ultimate. The luxury feel makes you king. There is no maintenance in the car since I drove 50000 kms. The balance and braking excellence of the car, always ensures safety. The only cons, I observe that the side view from driver seat, should have been more wide. But overall the car is superb and luxurious.

Ford ecosport is the perfect car from good music system to sturdy built it has got it all. Overall the car has a comfortable drive although the gear is a bit hard but the build qualityand the well finished interiors make up for it.

My first line will be "Don't buy this car" especially the ambiente and trend models. Now i am telling the reasons: 1) Ford team has cut down the accessories from the cars and raised the prices. I have Ecosport Trend (P) and i regret purchasing this car. 2) The pickup of this car is worse than a CNG car and when you complain about it, they say "Ye aisa hi rahega". 3) The music system panel and screen especially in Ambiente and Trend models heats like its burning. In delhi during summer, you can't even try to touch the screen. Again, when i complained about it, they said "Ye to aisa hi rahega, ye problem harr ecosport me aati hai". 4) Poor after sales service. When i complained about faults, instead of satifying the customer, they make excuses. Since i faced these problems and received no solution, i filed a complaint against Ford in Cosumer court. Hope they will change a bit.

Super amazing car with boost performance and super comfortable. Best on local traffic as well as on highway. Spacious with lot many features. Best to buy Suv car. Powerful engine and beautiful looks. Advantage of back charging point and parking sensors also with feature of USB, Pendrive, CD, Aux. Mirrors are also automatic Disadvantage of not having rear AC vent and rear Lights in interior.

Exterior

The exterior looks very sporty and compact, especially when we watch it on the roads. The design and the finish qualty is excellent and can easily match with the other cars in this segment.

 

Interior (Features, Space & Comfort)

Very good interiors with a jazzy look. Initially there might be a bit of confusion with the controls and the menus, but once you get used to it, there are no concerns and everything is very smooth. the car is very spacious from inside, not only the front seats but the back seats as well. There is a lot of space for keeping utilities such as water bottles, mobile phones and eatables. The only backdrops is the boot space which is a bit less as compared to similar cars in this segment, although there is a provision to increase it by folding the rear seats in the 60:40 fashion.Secondly, the quality of material being used for the interiors is a level below most of the cars in its competition.

 Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox

Engine pickup and performance as such is excellent with a very smooth pick up and ride through the worst of roads. You don't feel the bumps that you normally might feel with other cars as the shock controls are able to absorb the bumps very well. Recommended to drive at medium speeds in the first few weeks (60 to 80km/h) so as to have the best possible mileage. I have bought the Trend + Diesel version recently and have been using it for the past 2 weeks and have already been able to achieve a mileage of 21kmpl. gear controls are easy and smooth to handle and navigate.

Ride Quality & Handling

Ride quality is very smooth with the car being able to absorb the bumps very well. You feel very safe and secure inside the car. The 6 airbags in the Titanium + variant adds to the safety factor.

Final Words

An excellent choice if someone is looking for a car in the 8 to 12 lakh bracket with a sport look and great mileage. Very comfortable for the front and the back rows with a great pick up and ensures that the ride is very smooth and safe. highly recommended.

Areas of improvement  

The boot space and the quality of materials used for the interiors design can be improved upon.

Look at the running Ecosport, without showing "D" for being in Drive mode & all kind of lights.. glowing up, this is after giving the vehicle for 2 rounds of service. It seems like Ford India have not trained their service engineers in servicing the vehicle properly.. and taking the customer for a ride.

It makes you feel like you are an amateur driver, with sudden clutch release, acceleration & vehicle does out of control.. I'm now scared to take this vehicle on highway.. ANY ACCIDENT to my vehicle.. I'm going to take Ford India to the court .. for poorly designing the Auto Transmission / Clutch & Gear change logic.

After raising the issue with Ford India & asking them to assign a new service centre.. they don't understand & keep on asking the same vendor to have it serviced. Please wake up Ford India, if you intend to be a long term player in India, need to improve the service.

Exterior The exterior inspite of Aged looks good and Macho. The built Quality is totally Fantastic

Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Things wolud have been better in the interiors espacially the dash baoard looks ugly. It can be smaller in bulge that would increase the cabin space. In short it has enough storage but needs athought before placing your nick and nacks.

Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox The best engine in the segment ,Engine was only the reason to buy Ecosport after. Driving Brezza ,WRV, Creta,I 20 Active. The engine is much responsive, you are never felt underpowered. I have been using the vechile in acity traffic but enjoy the ride every time, bestpart of the car is it pickup its as good as petrol vehicle.

Ride Quality & Handling The best in he Mini Suv Segment.

Final Words Feeling amazed with my choice.

Areas of improvement The sale and Service center to be improved. The Sale showroom are miserable it got my registration done after 20 days. Dont know about the service, hope for good.

Best Drivers carInterior overloaded

From purchasing to after sales service it was been a superb experience with Ford. Specially capital Ford Bhubaneswar guys were excellent. Its 85k plus km, still I feel fresh with bull. Highway, city or off road it's good every where. Never felt any issues while on wheel. Single stretch i had drove 1200 km without any stress. It's have been a good 5 years.
