unsure about value for money

After reading Ashwin's views on this car I nearly finalised buying one : however after discussions regarding the same I have my concerns about the resale of a chevrolet. I have been cautioned that though the car is quite good in all respects the biggest problem is the resale value of any chevrolet car : I called a few car dealers and friends: they confirmed that my fears about the pathetic resale value of chevrolet cars are true and that this is one of the biggest drawbacks which even this model cannot excape. Though Magnum isnt old enough to be on the roads for resale but the past records of all chevrolet models in India confirm these fears. Please let me have your views as even if the car is great I would like to change the within 18-24 months.price in this segementpathetic resale
