Chevrolet Enjoy Comparatively good car in this price, currently auto market will be going to MPV, MUV, SUV cars for family and one another new car launch in market named as Chevrolet- Enjoy So enjoy with family in weekend with new car, Car Seating is good position, visibility is good, power pick up good, AC is good quite till rear last row, noise less engine, good breaking at 80-100 kmph stop between 40 meters, cross wind sound found when cross another car/ trucks , driver seat comfortable also middle row comfortable, legroom, soulder room, head room good till middle row, last row sufficient for 5’5 inch people, total 4 seat adjustable, AC You can go for slightly higher price comparatively good car as Suzuki Ertiga & Renault- Duster Ertiga made by Multijet 90 engine which power deliver 90PS @ 4000 and Torque 200NM @ 1750 Enjoy made by same TATA engine which popular in Swift, Ritz, Punto, Tata Indica etc power deliver 75 PS @ 4000 and 188@ 1750 Enjoy is 7 seater car so, engine slightly un power when higher gear in lower torque Only comfort, interior plastic quality and mileage factor is good, also lower ground clearance 162 mm, heavy bump not cross easily with fully loaded 7 passenger, tyre side 170/70 14 inch slightly small it will be at least 15 inch for this load/ and price AREA IMPROVEMENT: GROUND CLEARENCE, TYRE SIZE, CHANGE MULTI JET 90 ENGINE FOR STAY IN MARKET IN TO THE SAME PRICE

Exterior Enjoy has a very pleasent face. From outside, it looks like a small and weak vehicle but it is very spacious once you step inside. build quality is good.

 

Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Although the LS 8 seater model doesn't boast of any interior features, still in such a cheap rate the provided features are adequate. The vehicle has good interior space. One doesn't feel congested and can sit comfortably for very long journeys. the air conditioner of the vehicle is such a gaint that it will chill you within seconds even in the month of june.

 

Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox Engine somewhat feels under powered and noisy. But it has performed excellently in hills during my recent trip to Jammu & Kashmir. Being a rear driven vehicle it helped a lot and the vehcile drove easily in the high passes of Ladakh. The engine performed very well even at a high altitude of 17500 fts. It returned a figure of 12Kmpl against the claims of the company of 18kmpl. Gearbox is very smooth.

 

Ride Quality & Handling Ride quality and handling is also very good. Even on bumpy roads, it behaved like a heavy vehcile.

 

Final Words Just After the purchase, i straight took a trip to the state of jammu & kashmir for the holy amarnathji yatra and then went to ladakh and drove back towards manali, passing all the high passes except khardungla. In total i drove 2700 kms approx and never faced any problem with the vehicle. It was the only Enjoy in my whole trip and the vehicle was really a head turner. So, if you are planning keeping in mind the budget and family requirments, go for it.

 Engine noise is very irritating, No bottle holder etc

 

Styling, seating, build quality, AC, VFMEngine noise, engine power, Dealer network.

Exterior Generally fine. Could have been more stylish. May be constrained by excellent comfort inside. A fluidic design may help as it is the current craze.

Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Can be compared with Innova. Space and comfort are far better than other similar vehicles in the market. It's captain seats in the second row are very comfortable. Similarly the third row seating is spacious and can easily accommodate grown-ups. Have experienced the comfortable backside ride over non-stop 130 kms. The controls are plain yet effective.

Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox A decent performer. An under-rated vehicle. Has to be experienced. Perhaps the engine could have been more powerful - felt when moving with full load.

Ride Quality & Handling Very good to drive. Feels light. Does not tire on long high-way drives.

Final Words A very good value for money MUV. A highly under-rated vehicle.

this is a perfect suv and a awesome milage and very comfortable the main goodness of this suv is 20 per liter and seven sheater suv awesome ac cooling and good pickup i like this suv so much its awesome suv

Look and Style :  Looks of a sedan eventhough an MPV. The headlight style adds to the front looks and

                         adds to the style.

 

Comfort          : I have driven the ENJOY for more than 2000 kms in 2 months and found it quite comfortable . The ride quality is quite good even with all the seats occupied. The suspensions are good .There is huge space inside. The second row captain seats adds to the comfort of the passengers .  Three adults can comfortably occupy the 3rd row seats.  I was able to keep 2 suitcases with 2 handbags in the boot space without folding the 3rd seat.  This is a huge plus, comparerd to other MPVs/MUVs. Separate AC controls for back seat passengers also adds to the comfort.

                       

 

Pickup         : Pickup is acceptable compared to its size as it is not a sprint car.

 

Mileage       : I have got a mileage of 16 with AC.

 

Best Features: Huge inside space, separate AC controls for back seat passengers.

 

Needs to improve :Third row seats require more thigh support for comfortable long drives.

 

Overall Experience : Excellent.

 I expected an 8 seater vehicle that could get into my budget with better performance and a good interior space and comfortable in all the 3 rows. I am very much satisfied with the vehicle. After all you will get only for what you pay. An 8 seater at this price, you cant ask anything more. Definitely i would recommend it for those who need as family MPV at a decent price and good performance.

Areas of improvement  

 The Interiors could have been more stylish (It looks so typically old styled) with some improvements in the cluster and more details like the mileage and distance to empty.

 I brought chevelot enjoy on last week. I feel very good perfromance. Its value for money. I got a confort travel experience from Enjoy. Very large spacios and suspensio is very good. I have travelled with 7 people on Enjoy, 1.3 engine with real weel drive is amazing performance.

Exterior Simple good looking style without not much curves & twists. Sedanlike front. rear  boxy but good looking.

Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Only real MPV in terms of space. All three rows have decent headrooms & legrooms. middle row can accomodate 3 adults comfortably. Reclining available for middle row as well. 3rd row offers ample of space for 3 adults also. No leg cramping for long journies.

This is feature where enjoy defeats all MPV's & some 7 seater SUV's. Ertiga can accomodate only 2 adults in third row without luggage. Lodgy has, Mobilio, honda BRV, GO + has 3rd row child seats.

Rear AC, Power windows, Power stearing available in base versions also. Boot space much better than Ertiga with 3rd row up. With 2nd & 3rd row folding U can put bike inside vehicle.

ABS, EBD, Available for top version only.

Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox Fiat designed engine responsive, Good pick up, Good fuel economy, gear box playful, smoot, handy. Real wheel drive -  helpful  for upward slopes.

Ride Quality & Handling Comfortlevel much better for all rows. Suspensions better. NVH  better. Some Diesel engine sound audible inside cabin but tolerable. Engine sound minimum with perfect RPM & gearing. No vibrations at all. very smooth engine. handling quite  better. can be driven like car. excellent road visibility.

Final Words Ideal MPV for big families. Totally VFM vehicle.

Areas of improvement Electronic gadgets, Optional Airbags ABS EBD for lower models, Ground clearence. Cup holders for 2nd row.

I bought a Chevrolet Enjoy 1.3 LT 7 on June 2013. To my surprise vehicle has been giving me trouble from the very first day. It clocked 4000Km now and this is just the 5th month. Vehicle was with their service centres most of the time. It had more than 10 break downs during the period. I had written to Chevrolet India and their local dealer in Kochi to get replacement for the vehicle. But they are not responding to my correspondences and requests. The vehicle is in totally unreliable condition.

Issues in detail for your understanding
I felt the cooling issues (A/c was blowing out hot air only) and noted the engine sound inside the cabin the very moment I got the delivery. Few days later, vehicle started moving in a very low speed (10KMPH). It works normally for the first few kms on cold start. So I have to stop vehicle every 5 kms for 15 minutes to reach somewhere. Their service centre at Kottayam, Kerala claimed that the issue was due to the failure of fuel injection system with the vehicle and they rectified it. Unfortunately the problem (low pulling issues) persisted after covering 500 KM. After 2 days, the service centre delivered the vehicle claiming that the faulty component had been replaced and vehicle was performing well. But after running a very few KM, I saw the engine light glowing accompanied with the pulling issue and the same abnormal sound from engine.  Again with the help of local people I pushed this vehicle to a house nearby and returned back to my hometown in another taxi. The vehicle was sent to service centre as again. After one week, service centre delivered the vehicle again claiming that vehicle is performing well.
