I recently drove around 350kms on Udaipur highway, if you are looking for the sedan segment, this is the only king of segment under the budget of 20lakh. Mileage 7/10, Looks 8.5/10, Performance 9/10, Interior 8/10.

The 1.5-litre TSI is extremely refined, and for the best experience, run it on 95-octane fuel—you’ll instantly understand what I mean. The roar at full throttle is one of the best I’ve heard in this segment. The cornering ability is insane. Even with a 180 mm ground clearance, the car doesn’t feel tall—it doesn’t run, it flies through corners. The chassis, steering feedback, and suspension tuning inspire a level of confidence that’s rare at this price point. If you’re going for the DSG, the Škoda Slavia makes sense with its slightly softer suspension and comfort-oriented setup. But if you’re choosing the 1.5 TSI with a manual gearbox, like me—go for the Virtus.
