Exterior ( 8.5/10.) ITS MPV BUT LOOKS LIKE SUV.ATTRACTIVE @APPEALING

Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) (9.5/10) Premium feel interiors with good space & comfort. EQUIPMENT LEVELS ARE HIGH AND WELL WITH IN COMPETITION. TERRIFIC SOUND SYSTEM WITH 10 JBL SPEAKERS. INFOTAINMENT SYSTEM SCREEN IS GOOD & WORKS WELL BUT SURELY SMALL FOR THAT VEHICLE (BIT DISAPPOINTMENT).

Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox Mileage  what i got are : AVERAGE

In highway , @70 to 80 km/hr -- 15.6 to 18.1 km/l.

In highway , @ > 90 & above km/hr -- 13.1 to 16.3 km/l.

In Local Roads ---  12.7 to 16.2 km/l

In town & cities --- 11.2 to 13.3 km/l

HENCE FULLY SATISFIED  WITH MILEAGE WHAT I GET IN ECONOMY MODE.

Ride Quality & Handling (9.5/10) VERY GOOD & PRACTICAL & PREDICTABLE (FOR SUCH HEAVY VEHICLE). STEERING FEELS NICE AND WEIGHTED AT HIGH SPEEDS & VEHICLE FEELS PLANTED EVEN AT TURNINGS AND AT HIGH SPEEDS WITH MINIMAL ROLL OF BODY(TO SUCH A BIG VEHICLE).

DRIVE MODES - WORKS WELL - EXCELLENT FEATURE TO HAVE.

ABS, EBD, ESP and Traction Control, Hill Descent control and Hill Hold are working adequately & quite well. GOOD GROUND CLEARANCE CAN OVERCOME MOST OF THE ROADS.

SUSPENSION IS VERY GOOD TO HANDLE OUR ROADS THAN MOST OF ITS COMPETITORS. 4*4 (ROUGH MODE) FUNCTIONS VERY WELL.

Final Words Stylish, practical, Well equipped, modern and value for money.

Areas of improvement

1. NO BUTTON START

2. NO SUNROOF EVEN AS OPTIONAL.

3. NO TPMS (Tyre Pressure Monitoring System)( USEFUL TO KNOW ABOUT TIRE PRESSURES).

4. App that supports I phones and Android phones.

The above are not compulsory but brings more to this wonderful car.

Best car ...i have ever seen..it look like beast.. interior is excellent. At this range it is the best car. Service cost is low and service provided by the showroom is super. There is no engine problems. There is no lagging in automatic version. Tata best production. Riding confront is super. I loved this car.

Have driven My hexa for about 20000 kms. Long drives of 1000+ kms multiple times. After driving hexa felt what is driving comfort, felt very assured andre safe. Initial drag of the engine is irritating. Navy maps is a waste, never woks. Service engineers need to be proactive to avoid customers facing unforeseen issues.

I had a brake fail situation of Hexa that’s only 33k km run. Brake oil leaked from the front left wheel and it was difficult to apply brake even at 5-10 kmph speed. Even hand brake didn’t support well. Call center could not arrange mechanic for checking vehicle in middle of Delhi at 2:30pm when all such services are available easily from breakdown service companies. Nearby service center was only 2 km away and I was told that only towing can be done, no mechanic can be sent. Call center took 1.5 hours holding me on call multiple times (5-7 minutes every time music), asking about useless details of my car. Escalating to the management was not feasible despite repeated attempts and keeping me on hold. Despite, there’s no email address on Tata Motors site to register such complaints.

Feel pity on their crew. I have owned one Hexa XT. I have Purchased the same from MK motors, Kottayam, Kerala on Aug 2017. Till now 9200 kms has been driven. Within last twenty days four break downs has occurred. Same complaints have been repeated again and again. I can’t able to start the vehicle.

I have compelled to go back in the middle of my journeys. All these time, brake down assistances came and take the vehicle to their service center. They can’t able to resolve the issue properly. From the very first day after availing the car the same issue repeated. I have got worst services from MK motors, Kottayam, Kerala. Last week, with God’s grace I have a narrow escape from an accident due to steering got stuck.

I want to sell back the vehicle. Tata motors should have the responsibility for my inconveniences.

Having driven my new HEXA for about 10months now have clocked 10000kms. It has a Solid and Muscular Onroad Presence, Good stability and grip on road. Interior space is quit enough to accomadate seven passangers with lot of comfort for long drives.

Hexa with lot of safety features viz six air bags, ABS - EBD, Traction control, Hill decent control , 19 inches alloys, ESP etc..  ensures safety of the passengers at the price tag it offers and makes it a perfect family car.

Well designed Dash board provides easy access to infotainment system and auto AC controls. Few low bits such as Small touch screen w/o inbuilt navigation , which is a great need of time this days, needs to be addressed by TATA engineers.

Engine performs well when on long drives with excellent NVH ( Noise, Vibration, Harshness) levels offers good fuel economy between 13 to 16 KMPL on long drives 11 to 13 kMPL in city drive.Gear shifting feels little hard at this stage - wish to get it corrected in next service.

Ride and comfort quality is excellent and doesn't feel to be stressed even after a long drives
@200 + kms as compared to other brand cars. Suspension feels to be excellently optimised as small pathholes, bumps are easily observed providing stress free ride experience.

Other features such as Mood lighting, Drive modes, Cruise control, Harman-Carden infotainment system, AC ports and mobile charging points in all three rows adds to a better driving experience.

TATA needs to be improve on its overall sales n service experience offering customers to handle such a excellent products in their portfolio nowadays.

Solid Built Quality,Lots of interior space,Riding comfort and Excellent stabilitySmall touch screen w/o inbuilt navigation,Hard Gear shifts, Tata Service.

One of the best car and this vehicle is zero maintenance and well driven on every road. The suspension is good and air-conditioned. Very good no noise while starting and just cross 100.

Exterior Fantastic look and is having Royal look. Should have come out in black colour and solid white also. Such big vehicles look more better in these colours.

Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Excellent features and sufficient room and comfort. AC is performing very nice. Only shortcoming is Navigation facity should have been in built.

Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox Excellent. Mileage is 10-11 in city and 14-15 on highway if speed is maintained between 90-100 km per hr.

Ride Quality & Handling Single hand and ride quality is excellent, have driven 17500 km in one year. Till date no issues.

Final Words Excellent and had loyalty with Tata since 2009. Earlier having Tata safari.

Areas of improvement Both back light should work. Navigation should be inbuilt. Technicians should be given suficient training at all service centers so that after sale service should not be a problem.

Final Words Tata Hexa is a good car. But I will suggest everybody not to purchase TATA vehicles at any cost, as they only make people fool at thier workshops. The service sector is very very poor. TATA people makes people fool by falsely offering so many lucrative offers on AMCs and thier intention is only to grab money. The worst thing is that you will never get connected to thier Helpline no in service related problems/ troubles. Go to thier website, you will never find any contact related with complaints. A helpline no is provided. Whenever you will try to connect, you will be fortwarded to thier complaint executive and then call will be disconnected after waiting for so many times.

So it is my strong suggestion that never go for TATA vehicles as I have a very very pathetic experience with TATA vehicles since 2000.

Areas of Improvement Not expected from these people.
