Altroz is a great hatchback car, best in class I would say due to its strong body framework which gives it 5 star rating. Engine isn't that noisy to be honest, won't bother you unless you go to the higher rpms. Milenge in cng was amazing, got around 29-30 kmpl on highways and 20+ in city heavy+running traffic. Comfort is really super nice with thigh support. Recommend as a family highway car.

In city traffic, there is a slight lag at low speed, especially in bumper-to-bumper conditions, and you need to manage the gears properly. Once the car picks up speed, it feels smooth and comfortable. On highways, it performs much better and feels stable even at higher speeds. Overtaking is not an issue, but you do need to downshift for quick acceleration. Mileage has been one of the biggest positives for me. In city driving, I usually get close to around 18 to 20 km per litre, while on highways, it easily goes above that. With mixed usage, the overall fuel efficiency has been quite satisfying and one of the reasons I prefer this car for daily use. Comfort is another area where the Altroz really stands out. The suspension handles bad roads quite well, and you don’t feel too many bumps inside the cabin. Even on longer drives, the seats remain comfortable, and there is enough space for passengers, which makes it suitable for family use as well. The interior is simple and practical. There are a few things that could have been better. The initial pickup could be smoother, especially in city conditions, and the engine could feel a bit more refined. The infotainment system also feels slightly outdated compared to newer cars. Overall, after using the Tata Altroz Diesel for 18,000 km, I can say it has been a dependable and practical car.
