Full Review

Being a Honda Fan as soon as WRV launched I bought Honda WRV-VX Petrol . In Design this car is excellent still there are some observations : DIGIPAD INFOTAINMENT SYSTEM : 1. Its very Slow in response takes lot of time to come in operation after starting the Engine . 2. Mirrorlink operation is just for name sake , marketing gimmicks , not much of use . 3. In Phone Operations there is too much lag , once any call is received or made immediately after that making second Call takes time as " SYNCHRONIZING THE CALL LOG " message keep displaying on Screen at least for 40 - 60 Sec which prevents next action . Waiting for such duration is not acceptable in any system . As Mic Holes of Digipad , used for Phone Calls are just below AC Blowers on Dashboard , Call Receiving Individual at other end can not hear clear Voice of Caller in Car . With such critical issues using this Digipad System become difficult for Phone Calls , which is , nowadays , a basic requirement of any vehicle . 4. Navigation system is also slow , many time just " LOOKING FOR GPS SIGNAL " message keep coming . 5.HDMI Input given for viewing Videos also does not have compatibility with many phones like Samsung Mobiles like Samsung Galaxy Note 5 . Honda Management need to take up these issue with Digipad Vendor for resolution . GEAR OPERATION Gear Changing is not smooth , its very hard & require good amount of pressure for changeover which is not expected from Honda Car .

This is absolutely true. The digipad performance is very very poor. I can say this is not useful other than playing music and reverse camera eventhough it has many options. I too facing all the issues already complained about and never expected such a device from Honda even we paid such a Premium price for WR-V. To list the issues I too observing

1) It boots very slowly

2) Phone book contacts never syncs

3) The Honda maps (Worst part of the device). you can't find the location like google maps.

4) Mirror Link. Worst, never used, useless for Indian's

5) I'm ssing below 2 issues in my device

i) Digipad keeps restarting, if I didn't played any thing

ii) Sometimes it automatically plays the FM once it reboot without closing CAUTION dialogbox.

Finally I can give 2 marks (1 for musing play, 1 for reverse parking camera view) out of 10 marks. So guys, if you are looking for good infotainment then WRV is worst in its place

This Digipad Infotainment System is a total failure unless Honda is gonna fix a lot of bugs. Let me list the Problems : 1) Start up Lagggggggggggggggggg! Seriously the system starts after I have started driving for about 1 min or more. 2) Bluetooth connectivity -- one of the worst in this class. Phone book doesnt sync automatically, voice reception is not clear on the other end, ; I had to literally shout every time i am on call..... 3) Touch screen----- is it capacitive ???? seriously>>! that too in 2017?? it behaves so,.... 4) No Android Auto or Car Play, for the damn lot of money u pay in this class in 2017!!! Overall,Honda has to realize that the infotainment system in Honda City 2017 is totally inferior, primitive and outdated. This is not expected out of Honda. The vehicle may lose its credibility when every other thing is good but the infotainment system is utterly uncomfortable / rather troublesome.
Honda needs to Update the software or call back the models to replace the digipad.
i support the view.
Reply from Customer services end : They dont have an update it seems or they wont update it seems.!!!
So beware people , !! Dont buy Honda cars unless they update the Digipad Infotainment system.! Totally flawed Infotainment system.

The comments written about digipad are absolutely true.  I have just bought honda jazz privilged model which comes with same digipad.  I am also experiencing exactly the same things which is written in review. Honda need to fix these issue.  I trust on brand.
