I've been eyeing the Tata Tiago EV for a while, and honestly, it’s exactly what a city car should be. If you’re looking for a highway cruiser, look elsewhere. But for daily office commutes and grocery runs? It's brilliant. The first thing you notice is the instant torque. Slot it into 'S' mode, and it practically leaps off the line. You’ll be winning most red-light drag races without even trying. The steering is incredibly light, making parking in tight Indian streets a breeze, and the AC chills the cabin in minutes, even in peak summer. The running costs are the real flex here. If you charge at home, you’re spending roughly ₹1 per kilometre. That’s essentially pocket change. I get about 190 to 200 km of real-world range on a full charge with the 24kWh battery, which easily covers a few days of city driving. It isn't perfect, though. The rear seats are tight, the door cup holders are practically useless, and Tata still hasn’t thrown in a spare tire — just a puncture kit. Also, past 80 km/h, the punch completely dies out

The cabin feels premium, spacious, and comfortable, making both city commutes and long highway journeys enjoyable. The seats provide excellent support, and the overall ergonomics are well thought out. Performance-wise, the engine is refined, responsive, and offers a perfect balance between power and fuel efficiency. The steering feels confident, and the suspension absorbs road imperfections remarkably well, ensuring a comfortable ride even on uneven roads. Braking performance is reassuring, and the safety features add an extra layer of confidence for family travel. Maintenance costs have been reasonable so far, and the service experience has been satisfactory. Regular servicing, maintaining proper tyre pressure, and timely fluid checks can help owners achieve the best performance and longevity from the vehicle. Pros include excellent ride quality, attractive styling, comfortable interiors, refined engine performance, and good fuel efficiency. The only area for improvement could be additional storage spaces and a few more premium features in lower variants. Overall, this car offers outstanding value for money and is an excellent choice for anyone looking for reliability, comfort, performance, and peace of mind. Highly recommended!

Very disappointed with Tata Motors and SRM Motors. At the time of purchase, I was informed that the electrical components of my Tata Tiago EV were covered under a warranty of 1,25,000 km or 3 years. However, when the Harman infotainment system stopped working, my warranty claim was denied, citing a limit of 60,000 km or 3 years. Such contradictory information is misleading and unfair to customers. I request Tata Motors to clarify the warranty terms and resolve this issue promptly.
