Tata releases teaser for limited edition Nexon

-    Expected to be offered in a shade of Neon green
-    No mechanical changes
-    Possible colour coded inserts to enhance the interiors

Tata has released teaser videos for a limited edition of its Nexon compact SUV. It’s expected to get an “Edition” tag and will be trimmed out in a shade of neon green as is visible in the teaser image.

Judging by the way that Tata offers its interior customisation and also what is evident in the teaser videos, the interiors are expected to get the same neon green inserts for the dashboard and possibly the stitching on the seats.

No mechanical changes of any kind are expected on this limited edition Nexon. The petrol engine is a 1.2-litre unit producing 108bhp/170Nm while the diesel is a 1.5-litre unit producing 108bhp/260Nm. Both cars be had with a six-speed manual or a six-speed AMT.

This is a cosmetic package and produced in limited numbers only. So expect that Tata will price it higher than the standard model and will only offer it on certain variants of the compact SUV.
