2018 Datsun Go and Go+ variants explained

Datsun has launched facelifted versions of the Go and Go+ in India. This is a mid-life update for the hatchback and the compact wagon and it sees quite a few upgrades for the vehicles. We’ve told you in detail about what’s new and looked at the car in terms of pricing and well now, here are the variants explained for both cars.

Datsun Go and Go+ D variant
These are the entry-level models for both these vehicles and despite their positioning, there is quite a lot on offer as standard features. The standard kit now includes front power windows, dual front airbags with ABS and EBD, body coloured bumpers, full digital instrument cluster, follow-me-home headlamps, central locking and battery-saver technology.

Datsun Go and Go+ A variant
There is very little separating the D and the A variants across both cars. In addition to the features of the D variant, the A variant also comes with power steering and electrically adjustable ORVMs.

Datsun Go and Go+ A (O) variant
The A(O) variant includes all the features of the A variant as well as body coloured ORVMs, piano black instrument cluster and steering wheel and rear power windows and most importantly, AC.

Datsun Go and Go+ T variant
Technically, this is the top-spec variant for both the Go and Go+. This, not only has all the features of the A(O) variant, it also comes with 3D graphical blue ring in the instrument cluster, digital clock, silver door handles and AC vents, analogue tachometer, 7.0-inch touchscreen system with Apple CarPlay/Android Auto. 

Datsun Go and Go+ T (O) variant
The same is the case with the T(O) variant. Besides begetting all the features of the T variant, the manufacturers have also thrown in 14-inch diamond cut alloy wheels and a rear wiper as a part of the package.
We would recommend the T variant as it has all the major features and it only misses out on the alloy wheels and rear wiper that come with the T (O) variant.
