All Tata Safari Old Generation [2023-2023] XZA Reviews
2 years, 45K KMs, and love my Tata Safari. A brilliant mile-munching car, with excellent ride quality. The automatic version is a breeze to drive - be it city traffic or steep ghats. Overall very pleased.
It could do better with luggage space - I had to fit an over-roof box. The infotainment of the first version looks very old compared to the market. Hope the new 2023 version addresses that.
Perfect and stylish family adventure car!
1) Buying experience is not so good. I bought this from tata showroom Shimoga. Karnataka. Here and there were scratches, and when I asked the delivery guys they rubbed it and made some more scratches. Since I knew I was going to get rubbing and polishing is done outside, I didn't make big news out of it.
2) Riding experience was excellent... with 3 modes (eco, city, and power) you can get desired power outputs as required. Basically I run in eco mode, because vehicle feels very smooth and returns great fuel economy up to 15km/l on average. Steering feels quite heavy but I like it that way.
3)Looks are amazing, vehicle is wider and has good wheel base. With 18inch tyres vehicle feels planted to road and high speed stability is next level. Head lamp is dull and throw is not so adequate but I have changed to white LED lamps. The best and practical feature I felt are Electrically adjustment seats, hold break assist, electric parking, last row AC regulator, wireless charger, wireless auto Android and CarPlay, JBL speakers makes driving very smooth and exciting... You get adjustable second row seats with that last row space feels adequate. That's one stand out feature why I choose safari over XUV 700. Door pockets are huge and there's enough space for bottles. Charging sockets are everywhere and there won't be any issue with that regard. Boot space is less, but again one can fold last row seats. Cabin insulation is great. Over all very practical vehicle and it's mile munching for sure
4) servicing needs to be improved. Not satisfied with that regard. Washing is the worst I say. These guys need to be more professional.
5) cons are 1. Head light throw, 2. heavy steering, 3. Getting in to 3rd row is difficult,
Buy DCT. Manual is not suitable for this vehicle. Leg position is not good.
