MG Hector [2019-2021] User Reviews

In one line: everything is good except mileage and initial lag when accelerated. In my one year experience on mg I'm very much satisfied with all features although there are some issues while taking on off road and also mileage. I didn't spend much money for the services yet. One of the most advantage of the hector is the comfort on long ride. It's really surprised . And features like panaromic sunroof, music system,gaana app 10 inch etc.. I really appreciate mg to bring those features on hector.. even though it's a heavy vehicle, we can handle like a car and also give a feel like suv. Also please don't compare it with seltos or creta, it's a different category.

It is an amazing car so smooth to drive but fuel economy is poor but i like its beauty of the car if u want to go luxury you have to pay for it anyhow it is better than another car to ride

From the time of booking to the car, to the delivery the dealership was very professional and were very helpful. The car as you probably already know is really good. Some reviews tell you that the infotainment is laggy and the steering wheel is very light but God knows what they are comparing the feel and feedback of the car to, because from my experience is that it manages to balance the feel just about right for the city as well as expressways. The infotainment is not laggy anymore with the BS6. Initially, the mileage that you receive is about 7-8kmpl but after a few hundred kilometres of driving the car I have achieved 11-12 kmpl and sometimes even 13, which is great for a car of this size. Performance and handling is adequate. And if you choose to take the MG SHIELD then the maintenance cost is pretty low. PROS- 1) THE CAR HAS TREMENDOUS PRESENCE ON THE ROAD 2) THE SUSPENSION SETUP AND SPACE along with ALL THE TECHNOLOGY MAKE THE CAR FEEL COMFY AND MAKES YOU FEEL SPECIAL. 3)PERFECT CAR FOR LONG DRIVES. 4) VERY GOOD DEALER NETWORK AND TREATMENT METED OUT BY THE DEALERSHIP IS GREAT. 5) VERY AIRY CABIN 6) LOTS OF GLASS AREA SO YOU HAVE BETTER VISIBILITY. 7) EASY TO DRIVE IN THE CITY AS WELL. CONS- 1) NOT THE EASIEST TO FIND THE PERFECT DRIVING POSITION 2)THE GEARBOX IS A BIT LAGGY WHILE COMING INTO MOTION, BUT THATS SOMETHING WHICH YOU RARELY NOTICE WITH USE. 3) I-SMART SYSTEM ISNT THE MOST RELIABLE AT THIS POINT OF TIME. All over the car is awesome as compared to other company SUVs.The performance is good in its segment. As the throttle is depressed the power you get is good. The exterior look of the car is stunning and the white colour looks good in it. The 10.4inch display never allows you to be bored while a long journey.

Very nice car, loaded with full of new features and exterior design is awesome.. Love to drive this one.. Interior design and seat comfort is on high level. Thanks to MG to bring this car in india.... Have so many attractive features in this car. I always have excuses to go some where so i can drive this car for longer..
