    DRIVING:
    Its my mate since ages

Although I've this vehicle with more than 1 lakh km in odo, I didn't sell it because I had to make it worth money I spent for buying this crap. But now I swear not to commit this mistake again 😕

    Exterior

Looks of the car are very good without any doubt. The aggressive design of XUV is one of the highlights for its quantitative sale.

    Interior (Features, Space & Comfort)

First impression of the interiors were pleasure to the eyes. However, as soon as tangibility stage came, my first impression went completely opposite. The interiors are of cheap plastic quality and are not of worth 15 lacs SUV. The top of the dashborad has glossy plastic finish which gets tarnished easily.

The car is very spacious in the first and second row seats but the third row sucks. You just can't keep your knees in that position for more than an hour or so.

Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox

Transmission from first to second gear is very tricky, although much better in higher gears. This results in problems while nimbling in the city, where first and second gears play major role.

    Ride Quality & Handling

The worst from Mahindra XUV. Ride quality is the worst of all. A single passenger in the second row will feel to be the unhappiest person in the world. He will slide on the all the sides of the seat when the car travels through curves and bends in roads. Even a slight curve is enough to displace the person. Also XUV likes to give loads of jerks in the potholes thanks to its rock hard suspension. Another problem that I faced is rolling of the vehicle giving a very unpleasent ride. Riding this car makes feel like controlling an elephant.

    Final Words

Buy it if you like uncomfortable rides. It does come with loads of features but those features require much more maintenance than you can imagine. Not to buy for those who face potholes on daily basis. Yearly maintenance is very costly.

    Areas of improvement

Ride quality, transmission in lower gears, Mahindra's service quality and also maintenance of the features.
