Hyundai Alcazar - Poor quality engine and defective vehicle delivered.

Defective and poor engine of Alcazar platinum delivered. Received defective Alcazar Engine No-G4NLMW654059 & Chassis No-MALPC815LNM812866 on 10/02/22 after unaccounted delay & despite payment on 21/01/ 22. Issue with idling and during starting. Engine used to switch off & took attempts to start making funny noises. Vehicle was sent for inspection on 26 Feb & 01 Mar 2022. Initially blamed quality of petrol & changed. Later swapped CAM 02 No's & ignition 04 No's sensors & again failed. On 02/03/22 changed full CAM assembly & yet again failed. Engineers now clueless/helpless. Hit & Trial methods are not paying success. This project poor QC/QA/fail design/poor input material/poor manufacturing process/poor workmanship/improper fitting by Hyundai Motors India Ltd (driven Approx. 200 km).Complete engine dismantled/tampered & investigation on. I feel cheated & dejected.

Good variant compared to MG and TATA and MAHINDRA

1. Buying experience is ok 2. Driving experience is good 3. Interiors & exterior looks good, performance is ok 4. Service need to be done 5. Overall good compared to rivals MG hector plus(china-all the features are same to alcazar), TATA safari(India-over price with less features, only build quality, expected 4*4), XUV500(need to facelift).

Nice styling car loaded with amazing features value for money. Driving is very smooth and easy. Front vision is very clear. 2 liter petrol engine is smooth and powerful. Excellent.

Excellent, classy, compared to available others brands. Great look, security features, awesome Bose music system with 8 speaker. Small leg space for last row. Better than MG hector, safari, Innova.

Awesome feature loaded car, ample space with stylish look!! Best in class interior with premium fittings!! Cabin is too silent, only the air purifier sound!! Blue link connectivity adds to its prime!! Simple word about drive is SMOOTH! hassle free and 360°camera and blind spot monitor helps you to drive even in the constricted areas!! Overall a complete package love you Hyundai!! This Is my 3rd car from Hyundai family can't get out of it!!

1. Took a few months to get Black color. Overall buying experience was very good. 2. Driven a few hundred kilometers. Its very smooth and easy to handle in City and outside. 3. Value added features compared to other SUVs in the segment. Performance is super, you don't hear the engine at all. 4. Service - yet to experience. 5. Pros - many: quality, feature rich, looks, performance, expandable boot using the 3rd row.
