The fourth-generation Skoda Octavia, which made its debut back in November 2019, has now been launched in India. The model is offered in two variants including Style and L&K, across five colours that include Lava Blue, Magic Black, Candy White, Brilliant Silver, and Maple Brown.
Powertrain options on the 2021 Skoda Octavia are limited to a 2.0-litre TSI petrol engine that produces 187bhp and 320Nm of torque. Transmission duties are handled by a seven-speed DSG automatic unit. In India, the new Skoda Octavia rivals the likes of the Hyundai Elantra.
The new-gen Skoda Octavia features an updated exterior design, highlights of which include a butterfly grille with black, vertical slats, all LED lighting, new 17-inch alloy wheels, and the Skoda lettering on the boot lid.
Inside, the new Skoda Octavia receives features such as a 10-inch touchscreen infotainment system, a 10.25-inch fully digital instrument console, two-spoke steering wheel, a shift-by-wire gearstick, and dual-zone climate control.
Armed with an overall package that honestly ticks all the boxes, it's rather taxing to fault with the 2021 Skoda Octavia. But that's until you come across the exorbitant price tag which has one scratch their head in awe.
