- VFM for its priceI have been driving this 1.0 litre turbo for 4 years now and have completed 40k kms. The engine performance, comfort and mileage is superb combined with the looks is what made me buy this. Back seat is very spacious (better than nexon). So far I had great experience with the nissan service as well. Cons: Clutch and steering are not as refined as other rivals i.e these are a bit stiff and the lack of service coverage in remote areas.रेटिंग मानदंड(5 में से)5

About the ReviewerPurchase नयाDriven For500km से ज़्यादा21 - Car performance is very good but, I regret buying base variantI bought the Nissan Magnite in March 2024 after watching many videos about converting the base variant into a top-end model through aftermarket customisation. I thought buying the base model and upgrading it later would save money and still give a premium experience. But after buying the car and visiting the famous customisation shops on Minister Road, Hyderabad, I was disappointed. Most shops only know basic work like central locking, touchscreen infotainment, speakers, and simple accessories. Beyond that, most of the available modifications are low-quality plastic stick-on items that don’t feel premium. The biggest irritation in the XE variant is the boot opening mechanism. There is no proper external boot release. The only way to open the boot is through a button near the AC controls inside the car, which is inconvenient in daily use. Another thing I noticed is that there is no auto cut-off/auto-off feature for cabin lights in the base variant. If you accidentally leave the lights ON after locking the vehicle, the battery can drain. This happened to me 4 times, so one has to be very careful every time while leaving the car. One more thing I didn’t like is the rear windows. They don’t roll down completely — only around 70%. The company says it is for child safety, but it feels restrictive. Engine performance, mileage, and overall driving experience are decent for the price. But if someone is planning to buy the base variant, thinking it can easily be converted into a top variant, my suggestion is to think twice. Achieving proper OEM-quality customisation is much harder than it looks in YouTube videos.रेटिंग मानदंड(5 में से)4

About the ReviewerPurchase नहीं ख़रीदा गयाDriven Forथोड़ी देर गाड़ी चलाई थी34 - Worst Mileage under 1000cc segment
I bought this car in May 2025 and have driven it around 11,200 km so far, including both long and short trips. The design and features are quite good, but there are some major flaws that shouldn’t be ignored. First, the AC performance is very disappointing. It works decently only at night when the outside temperature is cooler. Although it has Auto AC, it doesn’t function as expected. I still need to manually adjust the temperature and fan speed. Even after the cabin becomes cool, the Auto AC doesn’t maintain it properly. The biggest issue is the poor mileage. I’ve never seen such low fuel efficiency in the under1000cc segment. In city driving, I get only 6–7 km/l, and on highways, a maximum of 12–13 km/l, even while maintaining speeds between 60–80 km/h. The service center also clains that 13–14 km/l on highways is the most you can expect. I’m referring to the CVT version. perhaps the manual transmission performs better. However, when compared with other vehicles in this segment, this one clearly lags behind in mileage and performance. Despite being a turbo engine, the pickup isn’t impressive, and there’s noticeable lag during initial acceleration. The engine feels like it’s struggling at low speeds. Lastly, the infotainment system is unreliable. Apple CarPlay works fine, but Android Auto keeps disconnecting frequently. Overall, there are too many small issues that add up. Apart from the design, there’s nothing particularly great about this car.रेटिंग मानदंड(5 में से)5Exterior

About the ReviewerPurchase नयाDriven For500 किमी से नीचे60 - A Budget Car With Premium Features And Bold LookThe behaviour of the sales executive and every staff member of the Nissan Showroom is good. You'll feel like a valued customer as they are trying to grab the Indian market. I didn't even have to visit the showroom for a test drive. They brought the top-of-the-line testing car to my home for my test drive. The overall process of the application was also easy, and the showroom helped me in every step. The look of the car is bold and premium, as their tag line - bold inside out. The interior look is also premium because of the 360 leather treatment. frameless auto-dimming IRVM, and a fully digital cluster. The NA engine has a decent performance for city driving, you can easily overtake other cars, and it can go up to 110-115 km/h smoothly. Beyond that, you need to push the car a bit hard, which is okay according to me. We should not drive at that high speed as well. If you're performance oriented, then you can opt for the Turbo engine, which is even powerful than a 1.2l NA engine. Magnite 1L Turbo engine can beat a 1.2L NA engine. In short Pros : 1. Looks bold from the outside, premium from the inside. 2. Frameless auto-dimming IRVM and a 360-degree around view camera at this price point 3. Cooled, illuminated large glove box 4. Fully digital cluster 5. Spacious and no claustrophobic feeling 6. The Air Filter is installed at this price point Cons: 1. The NA engine could have been better. 2. The infotainment system could be better with a good resolution and a larger screen size 3. A sunroof option for Top models, or could bring another variant like "Tekna+ S" with a Sunroof optionरेटिंग मानदंड(5 में से)5

About the ReviewerPurchase नहीं ख़रीदा गया1011 - When Space, Comfort & Common Sense Beat Spec Sheets _ A Practical Buyer’s Story
Been driving this car for just over a month now. When we started looking, the requirement was very clear: a spacious automatic for daily office use in Mumbai, easy enough for my wife (a new driver), effortless ingress and egress for aged parents, and rear passenger headrests for long-drive comfort. With this checklist in mind, I had been extensively reviewing cars for over a year and had firmly concluded NOT TO BUY NISSAN. By December 2025, the search narrowed down to the usual suspects — Tata, Hyundai, and Maruti — with a strong bias towards closing on a Wagon R AMT. Over nearly four weekends, we sat in and evaluated almost everything within or slightly above our budget: Tiago, Tigor, Altroz, Punch, i10, Exter, Wagon R, and Fronx. In many of these cars, we didn’t even feel the need to fire up the engine or take a test drive — the basic requirements just weren’t there. Eventually, though still not fully satisfied, we were almost about to close on the Altroz. Then, almost by fluke, we happened to pass a Nissan showroom — despite having a very clear mindset of not buying one. We stepped in, sat inside, and everything changed. The space on offer was immediately impressive. Seating front and rear felt ergonomically spot-on, ingress and egress were just right, and the dashboard was refreshingly no-nonsense. The driving experience itself wasn’t mind-blowing — honestly, not at the level of my old Maruti Ritz or even the new Altroz — more in the same bandwidth as a Tigor. Yet, somehow, everything felt right. Despite the known reliability concerns, we didn’t overthink it as we did elsewhere. Decision made, no time wasted. Now, after living with the car for over a month, I can confidently vouch for the real-world driving experience. This is not a car for enthusiasts. From a signal stop, it creeps forward gently, and people behind will honk during the first 3–5 seconds. However, once it settles into its sweet spot around 20 km/h, it drives comfortably and smoothly up to about 65–70 km/h. Beyond that, acceleration isn’t as linear and does take time. This sweet driving zone really rewards a soft-foot driving style Fuel efficiency has been quite realistic and in line with expectations: ~9 km/l in heavy Mumbai evening traffic 13–14 km/l in mixed city conditions 19 km/l on traffic-free Sunday city drives 23 km/l on the Mumbai–Pune Expressway, cruising at 70–80 km/h After checking with friends using other brands, these numbers are fairly comparable and not out of line with what most cars actually deliver. I also started noticing something interesting — no matter how quickly other cars accelerate in city traffic, they’re not really reaching any sooner than you would in this one. That realisation came after the first few days, when I used to get genuinely irritated by how this car refused to break speed limits even on hard acceleration. Once you tune into its rhythm, it becomes very easy to live with. Yes, the engine does vibrate a bit when in reverse gear, but honestly, that’s not a deal breaker given everything else it offers. What this car truly gets right for me are the basics: well-sized seats, excellent ergonomics, a simple and intuitive dashboard, just the right features (nothing flashy or overdone), easy ingress for elders, and interior finish quality that feels better than any Maruti I’ve experienced. If you’re in the market for a new car, my only advice would be this: make a clear list of your requirements, then physically sit in every car you possibly can. Don’t rely only on reviews or opinions. Somewhere along the way, there will be a moment — almost like a divine intervention — that tells you this is the right car for you.रेटिंग मानदंड(5 में से)5Exterior
