      I bought this car in May 2025 and have driven it around 11,200 km so far, including both long and short trips. The design and features are quite good, but there are some major flaws that shouldn’t be ignored. First, the AC performance is very disappointing. It works decently only at night when the outside temperature is cooler. Although it has Auto AC, it doesn’t function as expected. I still need to manually adjust the temperature and fan speed. Even after the cabin becomes cool, the Auto AC doesn’t maintain it properly. The biggest issue is the poor mileage. I’ve never seen such low fuel efficiency in the under1000cc segment. In city driving, I get only 6–7 km/l, and on highways, a maximum of 12–13 km/l, even while maintaining speeds between 60–80 km/h. The service center also clains that 13–14 km/l on highways is the most you can expect. I’m referring to the CVT version. perhaps the manual transmission performs better. However, when compared with other vehicles in this segment, this one clearly lags behind in mileage and performance. Despite being a turbo engine, the pickup isn’t impressive, and there’s noticeable lag during initial acceleration. The engine feels like it’s struggling at low speeds. Lastly, the infotainment system is unreliable. Apple CarPlay works fine, but Android Auto keeps disconnecting frequently. Overall, there are too many small issues that add up. Apart from the design, there’s nothing particularly great about this car.

      I have the XE variant of 2023. I have driven this almost 16000 kms, it's okay to have features and all because it's a one thousand naturally aspirated engine, so I am not saying anything about it's power and all but it's mileage I can't imagine it's like having a Fortuner of any supercar car sirf 1000 CC engine aur khuraak like 2600 CC

      Purchase year - 2021 Kms driven - 44000 kms On road price - 800000/- Other models considered at the time of purchase - venue, aura, nexon, kiger, tigor, i10 grand Reason why I chose Magnite over above - Venue : was costlier and had less space than Magnite. Didn't like the design either aura : reviews were not good and safety ratings were not good Nexon : out of budget and the brilliance of Tata service centres, maintenance cost Kiger : almost the same, but slight costlier and Renault service experience Tigor : Tata service centres and not that good looking I10 grand : safety ratings and a hatchback instead of SUV/Sedan Pros : the space. Yes, its so spacious and you will feel like you are driving a big car Boot space - too much luggage can fit in this. It mentions 370ltr but it can accommodate luggage of 3 people Leg space - decent space for passengers Mileage - 14-16 in city and 18-20 on highway. Very happy with it. Ride quality - it glides on highways and you don't feel like driving a smaller capacity car Handling - it's good. You feel confident while driving Speakers - sound quality of the speakers given by company is exceptional. You don't have to get anything else installed Value for money - feature like ORVM, real wipers, all 4 power windows feel good at this price point Service cost - it's reasonable coz I have seen people paying 8-9k per service to maruti and Tata service centers. It costs my around 3.5k to 4k at an average per service, including the cost of the maintenance plan Cons : headlights - are poor. Had to get after-market LEDs installed (myTVS) Cabin noise - engine noise is audible sometimes, while it's not a deal breaker but I have been in more silent cars. Though it's non-existent Reverse gear - makes vibration and noise. Not sure but the company claims it's normal Overall summary : It's a perfect car and great value for money product. Couldn't have asked for anything else at this price. Have done too many long rides on all kinds of terrains and it has proved its reliability.

    • Value for money, i have underestimated the vehicle. the performance for the price is excellent.
      Vehicle performance and the AMT gear box is excellent. I did not expect such a value for the money spent. The space is also plenty. Perfect for a family man, the vehicle's ground clearance is excellent, not to worry about bad roads and speed breakers. Maintaining a speed of 85 km/h will give a miracle in mileage.
