Premium Looks With a Mileage CompromiseThe MG Astor Style EX 1.5 truly stands out with its premium interior quality, stylish design, and super comfortable cabin feel. The dashboard layout and overall road presence make it feel like a segment above. Seats are comfortable for long drives and the ride quality is smooth as well. However, the biggest downside is the fuel efficiency, which feels quite poor for a 1.5 petrol SUV, especially in city driving conditions. If mileage is your top priority, this might disappoint you. A Personal Review of MG AstorDriving the **MG Astor** was an engaging and comfortable experience that left a strong impression. As soon as I got into the driver’s seat, the cabin felt well thought out with intuitively placed controls and a roomy interior that easily fit the driver and passengers. The seats were very nice and made the use of the car comfortable and fatigue-free, even on long trips. The Astor gave a very smooth and assured performance on the road. The engine's reaction to the accelerator was quick, especially when joining the traffic, and the overall ride successfully combined comfort and control. The city streets and the highway were equally easy to drive, thanks to the exact steering that made driving the car both easy and pleasant. The **infotainment system** presented bright images and was very responsive, while the incorporation of the smartphone via Apple CarPlay and Android Auto was without any trouble. The digital driver display showed important information instantly. Modern safety features such as lane assist and blind spot monitoring, gave confidence, particularly in heavy traffic situations. The driver’s view was quite good, and the general ergonomic design of the car made it easier and more pleasant to drive. The MG Astor, in the end, has already been through all practicalities, great catches in performance, and advanced tech to the point that it turns out daily driving to be a pleasurable and stress-free experience. THE AMAZING MG ASTORI recently bought the MG Astor, and the buying experience was surprisingly smooth; the dealership staff were friendly and explained every feature in detail, making the decision easy. The driving experience is comfortable and refined, with responsive steering and good city handling, though the engine feels a bit underpowered on highways. The Astor looks sleek and modern, with sharp lines and a premium interior that impresses on looks alone. Performance-wise, the 1.5‑litre petrol engine delivers decent mileage of around 15–16 kmpl in mixed conditions. Servicing is hassle‑free at MG service centres, and parts are readily available. Pros include stylish design, spacious cabin, advanced safety features, and a fun‑to‑drive personality. Cons are limited rear‑seat legroom and the lack of a proper panoramic sunroof in the base variant. For maintenance, keep the engine oil changed every 5,000 km, check tyre pressure regularly, and clean the air filter often to ensure optimal performance. Also, schedule periodic software updates for the i‑Smart features to avoid glitches. Best Value for money with necessary featuresI bought Astor Sprint 10 months ago (March 2025) after selling my diesel nexon clocked 90k kms with best mileage. I use the car 100% on the highway. I am getting 18 kmpl tank to tank using Jio-BP petrol with cruising around 2750rpm (90kmph). The car is stable and well handled, but steering feels light at 90 kmph too(set to Normal). This car is often dropped from the list for mileage, and in cities with heavy traffic, 8 kmpl / moderate 12 kmpl, which is good in my opinion. I suggest this vehicle for the perfect family car with comfort, linear power delivery, with good boot capacity / necessary features loaded in the base variant for the price under 10L of NA petrol 1.5.Service is bit worse in SMK MG thousand lights as charge for the wash as consumables and lost one of the wheel cap of tyre.रेटिंग मानदंड(5 में से)5Exterior
