      I am an unfortunate Renault Duster car owner. I pity my fate of having selected this vehicle for my family. I had a clutch burn out problem in the month of July 2018. I had just completed forty thousand kilometers at that time. I was told that this was normal for a Renault duster and that I have to replace both the parts. My vehicle was serviced entirely at my cost saying that this was the drivers problem driving in heavy traffic. but I drive two more vehicles..a hyundai santro which is a 2008 model and a maruti wagon R which is a 2012 model. Both of the vehicles are running well with no clutch issues till date. I replaced both the clutch and flywheel together in July 2018. Now to my total horror...only three months after the service and replacement (Costing me nearly eighty thousand rupees)...The vehicle again broke down with no clutch play at all...in the middle of the road on the 30th of September 2018 just after three months of service...I had been driving extremely carefully after the initial bad experience with your car...still I have this situation in just three months.???? I sent the vehicle to Renault Service Center Nettoor kochi and they told me that the clutch and flywheel have burnt out again....in a short time of six thousand kilometers...??!! They told me that Renault Duster car has this problem... I complained in the Renault toll free number three days back ( my reference number is 40568414) The Renault toll free complaint centre people were a big joke and they have not even bothered to call the service center to know the details. Nobody seems to care and your company's reputation seems to be zero...judging by the irresponsible responses. I am not asking you any favour here. I need the parts to be replaced at company cost. Else I am going to complain in consumer court and send the details in public forums and social media. I need justice for a faulty vehicle. REPLACE THE FAULTY CLUTCH AND FLYWHEEL TOGETHER AT YOUR COMPANY'S EXPENSES. NO MORE RENAULT CARS IN A LIFETIME FOR ANYONE RELATED TO ME.

    • worst car in the universe please don,t buy this company car

      i bought this vehicle in 2013 one of the worst suv in world i faced lot of problems with the vehicle i listed some below 1) water pump failure 2) alternator failure 3) self starting motor failure 4) power window failure 5) ac knob broken 6) clutch fly wheel failure 7) gear cable fault 8) AC pipe line failure All this above mentioned problem caused within 68,000 kilometers the service provider and company where least concern about my complaints really had lot of stress because of this vehicle my humble request to all the people who prefer r have idea to buy this vehicle please dont ever try to have that idea.     • AN AMAZING SUV BY RENAULT

      Exterior Very good exteriors. Its design is very bold and masculine. The new alloy wheels look really impressive. The roof rails are also excellent having name written DUSTER. The new signature headlamps add very shower look to it.

      Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Interior is also very good. It has lumbar support in all the seats. Legroom  is just excellent. The media infotianment system is also excellent. It offers GPS as well. The confidence of driver on duster is very high especiaaly on highways.

      Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox Engine and perfomance is upto the mark suv should have. It catches speed automatically. Its cruise control helps very much on high ways. just leave accelerator and go on like rocket😎.Gearbox is very much smooth.

      Ride Quality & Handling Nothing to say about ride quality and handling. I AM REALLY A FAN OF DUSTER'S RIDE QUALITY AND HANLING. jUST AMAZING.

      Final Words Dont confuse between duster and close your eyes and simply take duster.

      Exterior : This  new  front grille with highlighted logo of renault makes the vechicle look bold and it creates a  new  charm on other people. The over all design with the New  Orange Color combination gives a  funky and appealing look towards our eyes.

       

      Interior (Features, Space & Comfort): Automatic Climate Control works awesome in this vechicle and cools the rear seats too very quickly . There is ample leg room for 3  people at the  rear seats  and boot space get's better with the spare wheel being put  below the body of  the vechicle.Shockers work well on rumble strips  too at an ease .

       

      Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox : Performance if the  Engine is quite superior to other vechicle in it's segment. Shifting of  gears  is so easy and  u don't feel any lag while the  transmission from lower to higher gears. The average can't be judged at this moment as i have only driven 120km but the vechicle says tank will get empty after 580km.

       

      Ride Quality & Handling: If  any one has driven wagon r or alto then he can drive this vechicle very easily . Steering control is so easy and it can move  inside small spaces in traffic at an ease. This vechicle can handle sharp  turns or speed breakers at an ease making you feel nothing while it  has crossed those  things  . Highway ride will  be much better with this vechicle as compared  to the city ride  i have been doing till now.

       

      Final Words: You will not regret Your Decision .

       

      Areas of improvement  : Airbags need to  be increased to 6 and  Hill Assist should be added in the top model along with the push start stop button too.

       

       

      Leg Room, Gear Shifting, Automatic Climate Control AC, Suspension ,Driving Experience , DashboardRear AC should be there along with Start Stop button start and Airbags should be increased to 6 .

      Riding experience was exclent having best suspension mileage is superb I got 17.325 km/liter. Looks and performance was great but servicing and maintenance cost is very high .it increases in multiple after warranty.my suggestion-1.service and maintenance cost should be reduced. 2.warranty period should be equal to Hyundai Cr eta and toyta vehicle. Than Duster would be no1.

      I was purchased my duster in November month and I expect a big amount of discount and I get a big enough discount . I have drive it at off-road highway city every ware .And it's very awesome .I also take a test drive of creta but it's not better than duster . Special it's breaking is very good handling is also good . It look very sporty an cool There is no any service issue about duster Pros. Performance looks off-road capabilities Cons. Milage, interier premium ness

    • I love my duster

      I purchased duster Rxl 85ps diesel in 2016. I was used to driving a small car and it just took two rides with my duster to fall in love with it. It is a perfect SUV for long drives and I can drive it for a whole day without getting tired. The mileage is very good and the engine is the best in its class as it never lets you down in any terrain. I have clocked 30000 km and the engine feels brand new. One advice is while getting it serviced try to look for a person having good experience. Cayene orange was the colour of my car, I wish that Renault had given extra paint coating so that it is not easily scratched. The people at service centre are very courteous and helpful.

      I booked my duster from Dimapur, which I had to wait for almost 11months, so finally being assured that they could speak with the nearest show room in Guwahati TI motor's I bought form Guwahati being assured that Dimapur autocraft showroom will service equally with care. Now after some few days I realised that the air vent control was defect, my air-condition is also very slow, like my air vents n it's dusty too . The console between the driver n the navigator ie the plastic that holds the handbrake n the manual gear came out, plus the mileage on diseal gives 15kmpl n 10.5kmpl on air-condition. The moral of the story pls don't trust Assam showroom. They rob ur money on insurance n defective inferior cars

      worst experience As for the beginning only there is problems related to suv duster's engine.clutch HARDNESS and noise . Service is also worst .As company give only telephonic assurances for solving any problem and the local service centre physically and mentally harrash for solving the problem.

      I purchased this car 5 months ago . and now on the road trip the engine is overheating and fully smoke from the engine. the service engineer said due to fan stop the working the coolen is short and engine become overheat so the engine has collapsed. He gives me the suggestion to replace the engine and I agree with him.after 48 days my car is in the service center for the spare parts ...very poor service from the Renault India don't buy this dabba. If you buy this car than ready to daily go to the service center
