Here’s what you can expect at the Dakar Rally 2015

The word “Dakar” is associated with the most insane adventure motoring enthusiasts in the world. There are few souls on this planet who dare to venture out on this epic cross-country race. And it’s not just a race, it’s a life changing experience and that’s why it gets  the tag of the world’s most difficult race.

The only way to complete the 2015 Dakar edition is through a combination of endurance and determination. The competitors will have an additional problem to resolve on the 9,000 kilometres to be covered in Argentina, Chile and Bolivia. The distance will be covered in four types of vehicles – motorcycles, cars, trucks and quads. Few manufacturers take part as this race offers a very good testing ground for its vehicles. Like I mentioned before, the Dakar rally is not meant for everyone and it needs high level of mental and physical strength. 

CS Santosh is  the only Indian who will be participating in 2015 Dakar Rally on his KTM 450 adventure motorcycle. While the race is still a couple of days away, the Dakar officials have released a teaser video which I bet,  will give you goosebumps.
