Overpriced, cheaply built, plain drivetrain and engines, disappointed, Mahindra Thar seems like a great option now. I wish this was priced at 9.99 lacs ex-showroom and the top end around 12.5 lacs. Wishful thinking.

1. We bought the car from competent Nexa, Hamirpur and had an amazing experience with the quick delivery. 2. Already driven it for 1 thousand kms in 15 days and so far it's amazing due to its compact size and smooth engine. Even the backseat passenger was comfortable in the 300kms drive. 3. Looks small from the outside but spacious enough inside. ( if possible in the next versions there should be a bottle holder in each front door) 4. 1st servicing is done. 5. It needs some time to understand the 4*4 functions if one never drives one. The car has a lot of auto features and need to understand them well. We live at a place where the road is kind of off-roading and Jimny is easily crossing this. But at times while taking turns and climb need to change the gear to 1st otherwise the engine will stop. Now we are waiting for the winter to see its performance in snow as our place will be full of snow

Was interested in buying but its been way overpriced. Just not worth it. Would rather switch to thar or much value-for-money options. Don't think this will attract buyers. Suzuki will need to rethink

I booked this car before two months because it will go upto 9-14 lakh due to its poor performance but when Maruti unveiled this car and the expected price I thought it will be low after launch on 7 Jun Maruti launched this car with its official price, I'm literally shocked that how could they looted us and innocent Indians.

Expensive. Reminds of the 1986 era jimny. Brings nothing new to the table. Exorbitantly priced. Dated look. Thar has more muscle and star power. The only thing going for it is a better than average car (but then the jimny is 500 kgs lesser in weight than the Thar). This is a maruti gimmick to make light weight, unsafe cars to notch up the fuel efficiency a bit.

I want a cheaper offroader that is Jimmy and it's off-road car as well as fuel economy also. I had taken it to long drive in many places and I feel that is this car is comfortable in long drives

Over-priced... at this price point we can better one. I was planning to buy jimny but after seeing the price, I changed my decision, Now I think Thar is better.The base model should've been under or close to 10 lakhs.Waited for almost 5 months to cancel it eventually, highly overpriced.The ex-showroom prices Maruti revealed today should have been on-road prices.

If you are looking for an off road monster, then go for Jimmy, amazing experience with amazing features. It gives you a huge boot space to keep all your stuff, also interiors are just amazing.

Booked but later on Cancelled because of the long waiting period, now it seems that I have taken right decision as it is overpriced, more than Expectation. disappointed.
