The buying experience was smooth, and the dealership staff explained all the features and variants clearly, which made the selection process easy. The first thing that impressed me was the road presence. The Sonet looks premium and sporty, and many people still ask if it's a higher variant. The LED DRLs, alloy wheels, and overall design make it stand out on the road. The cabin feels modern, and the fit and finish are surprisingly good for this price range. Driving in city traffic is effortless due to its compact dimensions, while highway drives feel stable and confidence-inspiring. The suspension is well balanced and handles bad roads comfortably without making passengers feel uneasy. The engine performance is smooth and refined, and the steering is light for city use while offering good confidence at higher speeds. What I particularly like is that the HTK Optional variant offers excellent value for money. It gives most of the practical features that families need without stretching the budget to higher variants. The rear seat comfort, boot space, and infotainment system are all adequate for daily commuting and weekend trips. Service costs have been reasonable so far, and Kia's service network has been satisfactory. Pros: Premium looks, feature-rich package, comfortable ride quality, practical cabin space, easy city driving, good value for money. Cons: Rear visibility could have been slightly better, and some premium features are reserved for higher variants.

Buying Experience & Looks The purchase process at the Kia dealership was incredibly smooth, transparent, and well-managed. Visually, the Sonet stands out effortlessly in the compact SUV segment. It features a bold, muscular stance, an aggressive front grille, and striking LED lights that give it an excellent, high-class road presence. Interiors & Comfort Step inside, and the cabin feels instantly premium. It is easily one of the most feature-loaded and tech-savvy cars in its price segment. The dashboard layout is intuitive, the touchscreen infotainment is highly responsive, and the front seats offer great bolstering and comfort for long drives. However, the rear seat space is a bit of a pinch; it is best suited for two adults rather than three, and taller passengers might find the knee room a little tight. Performance & Handling Driving the Sonet in city traffic is absolutely effortless. The steering is light and nimble, making it very easy to maneuver through tight spots and park in crowded areas. On the open highway, the car shows impressive stability and feels planted at higher speeds. The ride quality is generally good, though the suspension is tuned slightly on the firmer side, meaning you will feel sharp bumps and potholes inside the cabin when driving at lower speeds. Mileage & Maintenance In bumper-to-city traffic, the car delivers a practical mileage of around 11–13 kmpl. On the highways, if you maintain steady speeds, the fuel economy easily goes up to 16–18 kmpl, making it a fairly balanced mile-muncher. Kia's after-sales service has also been quite positive and hassle-free so far.

Using my Kia Sonet since 2021 and have driven almost 1.5 lakh km. It has never failed to impress me or caused any major issues. The performance, comfort and reliability have been outstanding throughout my ownership experience. One piece of advice for potential buyers: always choose a good service center and follow the maintenance schedule that’s best for your car’s health.
