    • Sheer Driving Pleasure with the Next Gen Verna

      There are times when you go out to get one thing and end up buying something else. Well, this is exactly what happened with us when we went in search of a new car to replace our not so old Mahindra Quanto. After having narrowed down to owning a car from the Hyundai stable I was pretty sure it would be the Elite i20. We had one previously about 7 years back, but the new Elite i-20 was way too superior to that. My mind was almost made up but then the salesperson offered me a test drive on the new Next Gen Verna. And boy the experience was out of this world. We ultimately bought an SX Petrol Manual version on 22nd August, 2018. Already done 1000 kms with an outstation trip of 500+ kms. The best thing about this car is its drive quality. Its sheer pleasure and to top it off the engine response is just great. In fact its better than the Honda City or the Ciaz on this front. Also the fit and finish of the car is just perfect and all the features laden in the package are good enough for the price point. One very notable point to mention here is that I have got a mileage of 17.9 kmpl one the highway, which is just great. On my daily commutes in the city it manages to crawl up to about 10 to 11 kmpl depending on the driving conditions. Only negative is the space for the backbenchers. Though its just enough it could have been better. Definitely buy this car if you are self driving, no second thought on this. Hyundai have really made a well thought out car of the Next Gen Verna and indeed I am a proud owner of one :)

    • Noise in cabin while accelerate / raise vehicle may be due to Engine Injectors.

      I have purchased new Verna Diesel SX+ Automatic on Ganesh Chaturthi 13th Sep 2018. There is noise comes inside cabin & knocking when you accelerate / raise your vehicle. thsi is happening every time when you apply the brakes & again you start accelerate / raise it, noise starts. This is very much irritating & distracting concentration on vehicle driving. Very much disappointed for a vehicle worth of Rs.16 Lacs.

      I purchased a new gen Verna in Sep, after having driven i20 for 7 years To my surprise just after 10k kms service, infact less than a week car lost pick up Was told that clutch and pressure plates worn out and are under no warranty by the service manager of Libra Hyundai, a Vendor of Hyundai in Delhi who was sole adjudicator in deciding its due to faulty driving inspire of the fact I have been driving an I 20 since last 7 years and have done 210k in that but never faced any such issues There is certainly serious issues with clutch and pressure plates and no heed is given Strongly advise to refrain from such car and most absurd reasons given to not even cover In warranty, A sorry owner.

      Verna no1 sedan car a luxury &comfort drive & best class car better look purchase krne pr bhut dar tha ki in luxury car ka maintenance bahut mehga hota h pr esa nhi h servicing &mantiness cost only 1 rupee par km h.

    • Noisy diesel Automatic engine. Poor mileage

      I brought new verna Diesel Automatic EX model in June 18. Engine is very noisy at 1500 -2000 rpm. It’s seems like driving a tractor. Mileage in city is 9-10 Km/l. Hyundai person visited after complaint and he told us that this is a standard noice. I completely regret my decision to buy this car and will not suggest anyone to buy.

    • Break problem in nextgen verna-very serious

      There is a big safety concern.I bought it in first lot.When it was launched.The breaks had serious problem.Noticed and informed but was not taken seriously.When sudden breaking (In emergency) is done the break just not respond and kicks back with sound.Thus the car do not stop.I almost met accident few times and got saved at the last moment.Not driving it now outside city as in speed if this happens it might lead to serious issue.Out of 1 times it will have the same problem five times.It does not happen every time but happens definitely first time after not driving or not putting break for sometime.And if repeated it goes of for few time and after a gap again it comes back.So very uncertain when break will work and when not. My name is Abhijit sharma I would eventually share my number in case do not get resolved in coming months and need to take action against hyundai.

      I got my car on 1st September 2017. The car was very good. before this, i was using 2014 veran model. Compared to that car, total 44 new features have been added. it was 10.40l x-show room old diesel car now new petrol car cost me at 12.23l. around 1.80l i got a very good car.

      I drove from Bengaluru to Mysore. I got 14.km/l mileage for my petrol Automatic car. I even pressed twice start push button thinking the engine is not running state but it was not the case. the petrol engine is so silent and you can't even guess it. Even I can feel till 3rd gear in automatic transmission but you can not feel 4,5 & 6th gear change.

      Really there has been lot of improvements on cabin noise, engine sooth ness, shock observer handling.

      Autolink is super app. I love it. it is essential in modern days. it is available only in top end model.

      Since I bought this next gen verna car its brake are very poor and the company service is also very poor i met with an accident due to insufficient brake and 4-5 i have complained in Hyundai but their service is very poor not at all happy with the car company response is also not in favour for its consumer they don’t even know how to solve the brake problem Car is useless when its brake are insufficient

      I purchased new verna Petrol sx vehicle look is very good interior also good but pick up is very poor I used before Maruti suzuki swift diesel pickup is awesome even mileage is 5 star verna milaeage is very poor its 1.6litre 121ps power but not worth for money its like a dubba car my suggestion if ur searching sedan then go for ciaaz or Honda city both are awesome don't go look wise its a dummy car even I run my 6000 km even I done service also totally its not worth
