Honda City [2014-2017] User Reviews

Am the owner of Honda city SVMT model 2014 For the utter shock it has been discovered that the front tyres have developed crack in the side and one of the tyre busted while parking the car on 26.03.2015.It is suspected that the substandard  quality tyres of" Good year Company" have been used which have caused this serious problem. The peninsular Honda Kochi, is not willing to replace the tyres free of cost and its just 9 months after which i have purchased this vehicle. Please dont use any good year tires if you do not want to compensate for safety of your life.i approached peninsular honda,kochi where they denied any replacement on warranty as they say it is due to the external hit.But it is not the mistake from my end or any driving careless ness.the good year company have not used proper tickness rubber to withstand the condition of the indian roads which is a huge mistake and everyone needs to refrain from taking the good year company tires.

my hyundai i10 was the bestincredibly worst quality tires used in delivery.

Exterior Good exterior.

Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Good interior.

Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox Fuel:12km/liter-nothing different from earlier models.Engine vibrates more than earlier models.

Ride Quality & Handling Heavily compromised on sound insulations by replacing PU with blank space leaving behind air Which constantly vibrates ,making it very noisy on back seats.

Final Words This is no value for money car.I regret my decision this time although I have 2 earlier models of Honda city.

Areas of improvement It is cheap idea to remove PU foam.it has made car very noisy..Consider putting it back again in boot area,& other areas.Call back all current cars from market.

I have purchased Honda City SVMT in July 2016 and till date it ran around 30000Kms. in this very short span of time I found following quality issues with this car: 

1) Honda team is not committed on their words for while selling a car= They committed me lot of freebies but just after getting DO (delivery Order) from financier they forget all the things

2) While accelerating,abnormal sounds coming from engine=Nobody is able to identify at their workshop

3)Seat Belt tightness lost its proper tension = getting loose= dangerous

4)Horn sounds like "Vicks ki goli lo Khichkhich door karo"= Honda changed the horn twice & once repair but still the same problem!!!!

5)Sometimes car wobbling even after proper alignment & balancing

6)most surprisingly, car window vibrates too much while opening & closing

7)Audio system= automatically all the settings wash out suddenly

8)Blue tooth connectivity=sometimes connect, sometimes afraid

9)During rain when some water going inside the window glass, it operates automatically up & down

10)Outside smells coming inside the car even after all the things closed

How the health will remain good of my HONDA CITY car for me in a long  run!!!!!

Certainly, it shows the character of Honda.... where once sold the car, take feedback from the customer but at the time of providing solution -convey to the customer that "This poor quality will remain the same".

Is there anybody in HONDA to take care of their baby "HONDA CITY"???

Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox Grinding noise from the gear box in new city models. User should listen to it carefully. Life of gearbox in very short. mileage 10kmpl.

Ride Quality & Handling Not worthy for long drives.

Final Words Honda cars India Ltd sells twenty yrs old technology SOHC engine based cars in India and throws the customers into oblivion. CUSTOMER RELATIONSHIP MANAGEMENT Deptt. intimidates grieving  customer of dire consequences if he approaches social media to expose company's inability to resolve the issue. Present CITY Petrol model emanates grinding noise from gear box, mileage of ten kmpl, ceasing of engine in minimal water logging to which technical staff has no answer. Pathetic after sales, rude and arrogant CRM officials, looting and cheating policy is all about HONDA in India. Honda India is looting Indians owing to past record. Now they have the worst after sales record. Arrogant n rude CRM officials add fuel to fire on customer's grievances. They are masters of falsely manipulating a faulty car as OK in the name of tempered tests reports. If your car is running well you are lucky. Once it develops faults HCIL will get you into hell n treat u as if u r a beggar.

Areas of improvement DOHC engine should be used. After sales.

The engine is gem. It pulls and pulls and keeps pulling fantastically. the engine is an absolute pleasure to drive. Service and maintenance are okay for the segment of the car. Car handles and steering control is also fantastic. Its an absolute driver's car. The car comfortably seats 5. There is enough room for all passengers and good boot space. Its a pretty reliable car.

It is amazing experience with this car. Interior of my car i liked so much. Excellent comfort, Excellent engine power and exteriors are also looking good. As it is sedan so more than enough space for baggage. Too good car.

Best car,honda city is the best car ,in campareing allmost all car.im saying to full confident this is the best car.its my personal experience.most amazing and very comfortable as compared to other car.

The car is worth to buy at its price segment the riding experience is the best in the range. Awesome looks the looks is the best nut the ground clearance is not good the service cost is between 5-6 thousand ..the mileage is 11-12 in city condition but on hoghway the mileage is 17
