Last year, Nissan India launched the Fashion edition of the Micra, and now it’s back ahead of the festive season. Clearly, the carmaker wants to push the sales of their entry-level hatchback. While the car gets cosmetic changes and additional features, the mechanicals continue to remain the same as the standard hatchback. Let's take a look at all the enhancements through this picture gallery.

This Micra Fashion edition was launched and is still available at a price of Rs 6.09 lakhs (ex-showroom Delhi). This is just Rs 10,000 more than Micra XL CVT, the variant on which the edition is based on.

Nissan India teamed up with the popular fashion brand United Colours of Benetton and have marketed this special edition under the tag name 'Runs on Fashion'. 

The Fashion edition is only offered in two exterior colour options - fashion black and fashion orange. There are no design changes apart from the additional stickers.

These exterior enhancements include decals on the sides of the hatchback and also an off-centre strip, which runs across the car from the bonnet to the boot.

Black door mirrors with designer stripes add to the flair, while the roof of the car also gets these stickers in line with the trendy look.

The cabin features black seats with orange stitching, Benetton-signature headrest covers and new designer floor mats. All of these brighten up the interior of the hatchback.

Besides, the carmaker is also offering the Nissan Connect platform along with connectivity options for smartphones through a 6.2-inch touchscreen display.

As mentioned earlier, there are no changes to the powertrain and this special edition of the Micra will continue to be powered by the same 1.2-litre petrol and the 1.5-litre diesel engine options.

Like before, the first 500 customers of the Micra Fashion Limited Edition will receive a hamper with exclusive Benetton personal accessories, such as belts and wallets etc.

Prospective buyers also benefit from a three-year free service package apart from Nissan Connect platform. These buyers can also avail the five-year extended warranty package from any dealer.
