Exterior Bold and American. Unlike modern toy-looking junk cars that have become so popular in the market nowadays. (I hate the fact that cars nowadays look like 'hotwheels' toys) It is a very strong chassis despite the size, I park my car up the ramp everyday and it refuses to give even the slightest twisting noise as all my other cars did(even when they were new). The bumpers have gone from being metal to super-hard plastic now(Maybe because they now have to fit a hundred sensors in them, metals would be impractical for this). That's the only compromise I see in this car. Otherwise it is a very solid car, the front and the rear both look fantastic. The daylights and projectors are high performance although the fortuner's seem to be a bit better.

This car is a BEAST, second to only the Mercedes GLS in dimensions. The bonnet is as high as my chest, the tyres are gigantic. The rear is quite lifted up at back. There's a huge panaromic window on the roof that opens up halfway across.

Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) As the outer dimensions speak about the exterior of the car, the interior is also not behind. The car is wider than previous generations and a liitttle bit shorter in length than the predecessors. The interior is also gigantic, loads of space everywhere. I swear, no-one can ever feel the lack of space in this car. The car comes with many features like Electric Driver Seat, 6 Proximity Sensors on the front 4 at the back, Sun-Roof that filters the sunlight making your surrounding bright and you won't even feel any heat, no matter how hard the sun is upon you, Dual-Climate zones(one for driver and co-driver the other for rear passengers with AC Controls on the middle row), various terrain modes, Semi-Automatic Parallel Parking System....so many more. The interior is modern, well put and everything has got a huge upgrade in quality. There's leather and aluminium all around you. The AC's are way too powerful. The default sound system is waaay too good. The interior is very quiet, you wouldn't hear anything from the environment outside the car except if someone's too close to you blowing their horn and that too will be a low-volume noise. THIS IS TRULY A LUXURY EVERYONE MUST EXPERIENCE TO KNOW ITS WORTH.

Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox Hmm.. What if I told you this 2.5 ton car can go from 0-100 in under 10seconds? THE ACCLERATION IS MENTAL. (For 3.2Lt model) With 197bhp and 470Nm torque, it outweighs the Range rovers. And yet I am not scared of pushing it hard. But then you all must know that it manages to give a mileage of 9-12km/ltr THATS IT. I am OK with that. The Automatic version is pretty smooth and the engine, being 3.2LTS makes lesser noises than my 1.6Creta's! Fantastic sound proofing.

Ride Quality & Handling Unlike my old Endeavour, everything... by that I mean EVERYTHING has been upgraded to improve the ride quality and handling. It is crazy to comprehend that this car is actually the Endeavour. You must take a test drive to feel it. Words can't describe the difference between the old and the new Endeavour.

Final Words This car is a whole new different car from its predecessors with the only thing that has left out to be common is the Appeal of the great American SUV, we Indians adored and obviously the name itself, ENDEAVOUR. <3

Areas of improvement I don't know, Suprise me! (I could rant about the mileage like any person in India will do, but please believe me, if you tried this car, you would never).

Looks bold and classic and yet modern. True American styling. Very Light steering.NOTHING(except for mileage, which you should acknowledge before buying)

Exterior One cannot ignore this beast on road. It's way better than its predecessor.

Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Quite spacious and comfortable cabin. Triple AC zone helps. Dash is neat and helpful. Expected GPS installed or having a provision in such an expensive car. The side mirrors these days are expected to be self collapsible when engine is turned off, but one had to remember and manually fold it through a switch. The left passenger seat is basic. The third row had decent enough space, but not for tall people. Cabin is quite quiet considering there is a 3.2 lt. engine under the bonnet.

Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox One will definitely like the grunt. But it struggles to take off, though I was not expecting it to be a racing car. Despite a 3.2 lt. engine. I wonder how it will manage with a2.2. Have driven it through Mumbai Pune Expressway, handling was good and fairly grounded. But it lacked the punch which even an XUV can provide.

The worst part was in Lonavala it just went dead. Ford servicing guys struggled to find out what went wrong. Now comes the 24s7 service offer. All they provided was two kids who arrived at our resort the next day morning with batteries to jump start, though we all knew it wasn't a battery problem. I myself had to organise the towing the vehicle on flat bed u all the way to Panvel. Then it took them for days to diagnose the problem. Apparently the transmission unit failed and had to be replaced. It's sad for a two month old car.

Ride Quality & Handling Ride is comfortable. Handling and manoeuvring is fairly easy considering its size. But it seems a guzzler. There's a massive difference difference between the claims and actual. I am getting 5.7. Expected it to be better on Expressway, but also there also it clocked just 5.8 considering I was driving within 100km/hr.

Final Words This one has only two airbags in the front. Considering the price the side airbag curtains should have been provided. I actually wanted to go for the top end Titanium but that had 7 months waiting. Though after two months I hardly found any Endeavor on road in Mumbai.

Areas of improvement Mileage mostly. Or they should be upfront in this area. Small bits like automatic mirror collapsing, front sensors, left seat adjustment, auto door locking while driving doesn't cost too much and should have been provided.

Exeter styling. The terrain management system.Fuel economy currently at 5.7. Pickup. Went dead in two months

Exterior The exterior of this new car is imposing and got a good road presence.

Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) The  seats are well laid out but the cushioning could be better.

Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox Responsive engine  but  fuel economy is 7 kms in city and 10 on highways.

Ride Quality & Handling Best in class as compared to the dated fortuner  and pajero and better than Chevrolet.

Final Words The Best Buy today.

Areas of improvement After owning it for 15 days and done 1700 kms the following needs to be improved.

1 manual parking brakes should be replaced by electronic parking brakes.

2 auto hold switch / system for long traffic signals.

3 after market navi sync should be provided ( fora cost) the present swap available is 1.25 lacs.

4 the ovrm folding switch  should be included in the key remote, in the present car it should be made more visible.

5 The sync 2 is partially programmed for the Indian accent and names.

6 Most important telescopic adjustable steering should be included presently can be adjusted only angularly.

7 Ford dealership not geared to handle premium car customers.

8 The centre handle  beside the driver seat is poorly designed as it cannot be easily accessed for the coins and notes the opening button is awkwardly placed.

The sad card slot and sub slot should be easily accessible.

      Exterior Very Good.

Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Very Good.

Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox Very Bad Experience, As soon as this vechicle delivered to us, it started giving some malfunction indicator on cluster, I took vechicle to Unqiue motor dealer of ford, they tried to fix it but coudnt succeed, later they told me to come in free time to fix it. Later on again I went to them to fix it but they were unable to fix it. They said me to leave my new vechicle for 3-4 days and they will sort out with discussion Ford. Ford also unable to find fault in car. After almost 1 week they got fault in car. I am very much disappointed that in brand new car such problem accurs and ford or Unique motor cannot solve it. Even they are not bother to compensate my loss due to unavailability of vechicle . When argued for change of faulty vechicle they denied it. Very Bad quality control system of ford that gives such faulty assemblies in new car. Please think twice while buying ford products.

Good LookingBad Quality product of FORD, shows weakness in quality management of Ford

Endeavour is the best Offroad car and features are also nice .Ford is perhaps one of the best known car makers in the world. I always had my eyes on the charming and rugged Ford Endeavour for many months and finally I bought it three months back. I along with my wife and my entire family go out for thrill and adventure rides almost all round the country, this car is the best gift I have given to my loved ones.

Best buying option to consider while buying, VFM =9/10. Ride practicality is excellent, as even shorter people can adjust their ride height to get a compete view of the bonnet ahead. Looks wise Endeavour is a complete package with aggressive stance to go head on head against the segment leader, Fortuner. Despite being an automatic the gear shifts are so smooth that one hardly gets to know the gear switches. Quality of drive is refined and the car's 18" aloy wheels swallow uneven bumps on road satisfactorily. Maintenance won't be a issue with the complementary warranty. Cost would be a concern as the newly introduced Alturas G4 has competitive market rate. Additionally, the car is available only in automatic transmission whereas the Fortuner is available in manual too. Last but not the least, the car is loaded with ample of features and is definitely worth considering to buy. Cheers.

In the segment Endy sits in; there is no better alternative! I have been an auto enthusiast all throughout and Toyota Fortuner is one of the cars performing duties in my family. The few cars that come to mind in this price bracket are a) VW Tiguan b) Ssangyong Rexton c) Toyota Fortuner d) Hyundai Tucson e) Ford Endeavour & f) an SUV from ISUZU whose name I don't know. For most of us, an SUV is an ego booster to start with and hence the size matters the most. The idea of towering over fellow mates on road gives you an edge as a more powerful and sought after individual. This ideology in itself negates the Tiguan and Tucson from this equation and I am left with the Fortuner, Endy & the Isuzu. The Isuzu hardly holds any brand value in our country or service network to boast of, which definitely makes it a white elephant of future. The two final contenders are then as different as chalk & cheese when it comes to living with. The amazing ease of drivability is what marks the first point in favour of an Endy. The steering geometry makes it super agile for its size and manoeuvring in tight situations are much easier than in a Fortuner. Then there is the 5 cylinder Diesel engine that sounds and pulls so much smoother and harder than the typical clattery 4 cylinder from the Toyota. The fuel efficiency figures would make you sit up though when compared to the Fortuner. The dashboard scores another brownie with its leather cladding on top and the digital display in your instrument console. The centre console with its voice activated sync 3 and the Terrain response system takes the Ford another step ahead. The overall ride quality lets you run over any and everything and its much less choppy & wriggly than the Fortuner. My favourite gizmos- the panoramic sunroof and the electric last row seats. Talk about the front end and the Ford offers presence that dominates everything around costing twice as much. That said, the brakes doesn't instill confidence in you and it takes some time to trust it in case of last moment stomping. Also some plastic bits like the rear AC vents and its switches which takes away from the premiumness whatsoever. I know if its genuine usability and quality you desire, you buy yourself a Tiguan or an even better looking Tucson but then for me, the SUV is for either enjoying off road antics which is greatly helped by the low ratio transfer box or to zoom into that private party and earn those million dollar glances. Whichever it is, I would prefer doing it with the Endy this side of 4 million bucks.
