Exterior Good.

Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Ok.

Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox Engine parts keep failing now and then.places where i have spend -Tappet oil cover leak 20000 rs,water pump failure -10000rs, gear linkage problem - 7000 rs.these are parts which have nothing to do with your driving .labour is sometimes equivilant to the parts cost.tata products will last longer.B U bhandari pune gives you only one answer for any problem wear and tear. they have been trained to say the same words.contact the company for any problem and they will again send your mail to the dealer means you are back to square one.

first 2 years you will love the car.then the honymoon period is over they start emptying your bank balance -15000 rs per servicing spare parts extra.

VW has good strategy sell the car at a affordable price then rip you off in after sales service .expensive spare parts,too high labour charges,dumb staff who think no end of them self.

Ride Quality & Handling Handling is good so is the ride but at what cost that is important

Final Words Buy maruti ciaz  ,hyundai verna or honda city dont even think about VW. you cannot do anything after you buy this car ,cant sell it as you will get peanuts bad resale value.have money buy merc or audi the maintenance will cost you the same as volkswagen vento

Areas of improvement Everything .they sell you a white elephant .buy it if you dont love your money.

I was a Audi/Volkswagen owner for long time when I was outside of India. I purchased a New Vento (TSI Highline) on 16th Jan 2015 from a Kolkata dealer with the same faith. But having a horrible experience with the car and jotting down my sufferings below :

 

1. While taking the delivery, I have identified that Hand rest in between Driver seat and passenger seat is broken. They request me to take it to service center and fixed it on 31st January after 2 visits as the parts was not available

2. 22nd Feb – First time My car was broken down in office parking as Battery was drained. Service center has sent technician  and It was jump started

3. 24nd Feb – Second time car was broken down in office parking as Battery was drained. Service center has sent technician and it was jump started. Technician took it to the service center and returned the on 28th February saying Car doesn’t have any problem

4. 6th march – 3rd time car was broken down in office parking as Battery was drained. Service center has sent technician and It was jump started. Technician took it to the service center and returned the on 16th March. Changed Battery, Self as there was electrical leakage.

5. 14th May – 4th time car was broken down in office parking as Battery was drained. Service center has sent technician and it was jump started. Technician took it to the service center and it they are trying to identify the root cause.

 

Now My question is when VW is taking pride of having German technology and also having no flaws in the car, why I am facing this with a new car? Are the cars getting manufactured in India not going through same quality standard as outside India? I am going to publish my story everywhere in social media so that everyone gets to know about it and refrain themselves from buying this faulty car?

ExteriorPerformance, Starting failure

I am using VW vento highline. It was very good in 2 years,i.e. the warrenty period. but once the warrenty period is over,it started creating problem with the injector. Service centre says water in fuel, dust in fuel, kerosene in fuel. each six month I am changing the injector.
I had asked them whether I should use high speed, or pure diesel, i.e. turbojet or speed etc, but the service centre is saying nothing. They are just mum on this issue.

If dust and other is a problem then why this donot happen in Other diesel cars? why only in vento.

First injector problem Nov 2013

Second injector problem Oct 2014

Third injector problem Oct 2015.

Just see in two years of warrenty, nothing happens, after 2 years all problem starts. This is actually fabricated I feel.

Please be careful in purchasing this car specially the diesel version. I cannot say about petrol version.

VW is not taking any steps to solve the issue.

Final Words First of all the spare parts geeting faulty very frequently like air vents ,boot lock, power window motor, and I am victim of all these specially the steering coloumn that cost Rs 65000-/ for a car that has travelled only 18000 Kms in 4 years.

I WOULD LIKE TO RECOMMEND NOT TO BUY THIS CAR,IT WILL GIVE BIG HOLE IN YOUR POCKET.

Areas of improvement THE AREA OF IMPROVEMENT IS AFTER SALES SERVIVE AND THE RELABILITY OF PARTS. YOU CANNOT ASK THE USER TO CHNAGE THE ENGINE AFTER DRIVING 20000 KMS.

CAR PARTS ARE VERY EXPENSIVE IN COMPARISON TO OTHER CARS ,THOUGH THE SERVICE PERIOD IS AFTER 1 YEAR .AS PER  MY PERSNAL EXPERIENCE I AM NOT HAPPY AFTER BUYING THIS CAR AND DO REGRET FOR THE DECISION WHEN I BUYED THIS CAR AGAINST MY FAMILY AS MY FAMILY WAS INSISTING TO BUY HONDA BRAND.

GOOD FUEL ECONOMY, DESIGNSPARE PARTS NOT RELIABLE, HIGH MAINTANENCE COST,BAD AFTER SALE SERVICE

Exterior Very old style , no ground clerence.

Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Interior  is not worth for the money .even the consoles and plastics used in dash bord is not upto the mark .Hundai eon interior is far beter than this

Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox Fuel economy is ok .Engine performance is ok .but maintence is very costly even routine oil change is very costly .Only delaer in kerala is EVM motors , the worst dealer i have seen .All ways problem with the injector .I purchesd Vento diesel on dec 2010 . The vehicle have done 50000KM . 2 times i changed the fuel injector .Dealer will be always complaining the quality of diesel .The technicians of EVM motors cochin are worst .I think the local highway side mechanics are better than trained EVM technicians .In the last 2 months march and april 3 times i visited the service center . They check do some maintence and say all ok , The next day the vehicle will be face brake downs. The road assistance is also very worst .After calling then you need to wait minimum 6 to 8 hours for them ( distance of 40 KM)

Ride Quality & Handling Driving is comfortable, For the first 2 years you will love the car . Maintence is under warranty ie is the honey moon period then you will hate the car. Then they will say good will or some bloody things , but you wont get any thing. Worst service.

Final Words Voxwagen need to give minimum 2 dealers , so there will be a competion at least in service. Other wise Voxwagon will become like Fiat (because of  delaer TVS).

Ride quality of this car is superb, even at High speed there is trouble. Comfort while driving is great., even after 4-5 hrs of continuous driving u will be fresh as if just started. Steering comfort on highways is unbeatable. A True Drivers car. Mileage on highways is 20-22Km/Ltr. depending on road conditions. City mileage varies from 8-16.

Buying experience: I was about to buy honda amaze but instead the volkswagen people comvinced me for vento diesel..the offers and car performance helped me in buying this car
Riding experience: The drive is very comfi and the mileage it gives is very good...cuz we travel to work everydy which is 40kms ..so good mileage is very much needed..n the smooth ride makes it more comfortable
Details about looks, performance etc: Looks are decent..very elegant and classy... performance is amazing too..its been more thn 5yrs ..thr are no issues in my car
Servicing and maintenance: Very quick and good the service is..and only required 1nce a year ... maintenance till now is nothing..inhav just changed my tyres

Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Fair. No navigation and rear parking camera.less space to keep loose items.

Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox Making high noise during gear shift. Average of the average is 16.

Ride Quality & Handling Seat is not confortable as compared to other brand in this segemnt. steering dmages hands palm due to inside stiches.

Final Words Do not go by brand, check other brands Before you decide to buy,

Areas of improvement Needs more packet for loose items. steering should be smooth, navigation system and rear parking camera must, reduce noise during gear shidt in AT.  Seating comfort should be like ford fiesta. Also the dealer should be given training about dealing with customers.

BHP seems to be low in AT. Like when it has to be parked in house and it is required to ride on a ramp. Without accelator and cluth it does not climb, while FORD easily climbs.

It does not lock on auto before start, it locks afetr 15km speed.

Only styleHingh noise

Volkwagen riding experience is better than other car, it's looks and performances is awesome. And it's service and maintainence charge is low for few years from buying new car, it is good for buyers
