Toyota means Trust, like all other automobile companies it is also one of finest manufacturer of cars. I booked 2018 manufactured T Yaris V CVT @ 2 lakhs straight discount on 22/01/2019 Price list showed 15.76(old list) 15.54(new list) on road inclusive of everything as per various showroom in Mumbai. I bought at 13.65 + Rs7000 (chrome add on) accessories free. In compare to Honda City 2019 Manufacturing VX CVT is list price 15.72 and they offered me 15 lakhs last. Maybe colud give 10k/25k more on sitting with cheque. My choice of choosing T Yaris in compare to H City is 1) Stability & Suspension Settings of T Yaris much more better than H City. If u sit in back of H. City during passing big pothoes and rough patches on broken roads I experienced direct hit on my spine. Seriously the thud and hit on back sit at 60/80 speed is there. 2) Fit&Finish Quality is below for what a 15 lakhs should be. able to listen outside noise more compare to Yaris + body parts noise to. 3) Patra/ Body of H City Light Weight 4) All 4 disc brakes in Yarsi. H City disc in front & drums in rear 5) ABS EBD in both but BA in T Yaris which is missing in H City. 6) 2 Airbags in H City vs 7 Airbags in T Yaris 7) Cruise control in Both 8) AC Vents on roof. Need of hour to think all companies. 9) Look wise personally I liked Yaris front front more classy/rich than H City. What I will seriously regret for not buying H City is 1) Peppy Engine drive. Amazing drive quality. Best than Maruti, Huyndai, VW, Skoda. No.1 ride quality in Petrol means H City. I & my father will drive 30% of this car rest 70% we have driver and that is why we choose Yaris as we would be using back seat There is a feel of vibration in back seat in H.City on rough patches of road. Please guys see that and spending 16.5 to 17 Lakhs on Toppest version was on H City for 6 Airbags not my budget. My budget was approx 13. And I got a good deal at 13.65 for V Variant of T Yaris. Yes ride is simple & boring on Yaris. Love u Honda. Will seriously miss ur peppy engine. 2) in T Yaris there was very less noise of outside but the engine noise in Yaris is pathetic and can be heard during high rpms. let's see after 2/3 years where does it take. T Yaris should have used noise cancelation feature which could make the cabin more quite. H City engine is so quite but outside noise and quearky sounds from body parts more irritating. 3) will miss H City's inside most black colour interior. T Yaris inside very very dull looking. 4) H City's legs space/ comfort 10 to 15 % more better than T Yaris. 3 Man/Woman of average size feel comfortable in back seat of both Cars but when it comes to long drive 200 to 800 kms in a day I think H.City with 3 people behind will be more comfortable. Anyways I have now booked T Yaris and have to live with it. Love u Honda, Sorry. Plz let me n my family try our hands on Toyota first time in my house. I had 2 H.City, Dolphin & ZX both for 4/5 years each. Recently since last 7 years my big joint family bought VW Polo 1.2 (D), VW Passat 2.0 AT, Merc A Class, Honda CR-V, VW, New Ford Endevour 2.2 AT, Tata Indica, Mahindra XUV 500, BMW 520, AUDI A6, Honda Brio MT, New Honda Jazz P MT, 2018 Maruti Swift (P) AT and Hyundai Verna (D) AT. My experience says Indian roads are not worth for a 50 lakh above car in India. My recommendation is too not spent more than 20/30 lakhs or max 50lakhs on car. And best way is to buy 15 to 25 lakh car and sell it every 3.5 to 4 years rather than spending 50 + amount. A 5 lakh car will stand good 6 years or up to 1 lakh kms. After 4th year 50,000/75,000 kms need a medium/major maintaince but will be worth spending 50k to 75k. A 10/15 lakh car will stand good 6to7 years or upto 75k to 1.5 lakh kms. After 4 years Will ask for 50k to 1lakh minor/medium expense. A 20/30 lakhs car will approximately stand 7 good years or up to 1.5to3 lakhs kms without almost negligible maintaince. Will ask 2 to 5 lakhs maintaince only after 5 years. And on selling u would get 20%to40% back in 5 years depend upon condition and market demand of that car then. I have noticed top variants in any model which are always 30%to35% now a day's higher than base versions are sold fast when we go to resale it after 4/6 years as people buying old cars would think of max features in less price as in resale difference between top and base is just 10%/20%. So if u planning to buy base variant in any model better go for top variant in lesser model. This is a trick to satisfy ur needs and save penny on car as this is depressing asset. All drive safe. TY. God Bless All.
