Nexon EV Price in Kozhikode

Owning a NexonEV 45 for less than a year, clocked 29500 kms, apart from periodic service, the car needs to visit the workshop for AC motor replacement, Steering Column replacement, repeated wheel balancing issues, despite the car being serviced in the Tata authorised workshop. The car was in the workshop for more than 25 days. The suspension of the car is very bubbly where we can feel jittery at low speeds, which tends to give us a nauseous feeling. This nauseous feeling is enhanced during our travel in the front seat as there is no shoulder support compared to other cars. When we are seated in the front seat, we can feel our shoulder isn’t offered any support, and when the ride is bubbly upto a speed of 50kms within city limits, there is a lot of neck and shoulder pain. The front seats are very small compared to most other cars, rear seat leg room is tight for adults. 4 adults can travel in moderate comfort. Realistic range on highways is 250 -280 kms when travelled at an average speed of 110kms in 4 way roads. The higher the speed lower the efficiency. Highway charging may cost upto Rs. 5/- to Rs. 6/- per km against Rs.3.5/- for within city. Home charging may cost approx Rs.2/- per km. A 50 km uphill travel will cost Rs. 6/- per km, but on return, the car gets fully charged (free) in a downhill journey. Ground clearance is low as the battery is hanging under the chassis, so it can be driven like a car but not like an SUV.

I have been using the Tata Nexon for the last 4 years and have crossed 75000 kms. The car never gave more than 150 km range in Mumbai traffic. Just that the overall running cost was low, so we were happy. But since past 9 months, the battery used to get discharge from 40% to 5% in 5 mins. We submitted the car on 15th November 2025 for review, and they said that the main battery needs to be replaced. It's 30th January, and still they don't have a battery. What's the point of giving a battery warranty if replacement is taking more than 2.5 months, and we still don't know when we will get the car? We cannot trust brand Tata anymore.

Buying experience is very good, and now I am worried about after service hope after-service experience also good. Overall experience is very good.

I would prefer the all-new Nexon as the most valuable car for that budget. It is best suited for city drives, and also long drives. I haven't faced any issues till date in the vehicle.

Salespersons training is good. The looks and performance of the car is excellent. The main issues are plastic parts and rubber beading falling apart soon after delivery. For any issue you receive the same answer from service team " it is like that. cannot be rectified". Very funny, the steering wheel is 15 degrees offset from tires, never drove car in my life with these bizarre uncorrectable defects.

Hats off to the Tata team for building up a fantastic machine !!!. The build quality and the looks are awesome. I did a test drive yesterday. It was so much fun to drive this car. The interior was top notch. The 360 degree camera clarity was awesome. I'm surely going to buy this ev. The only cons is the rear seat space. It can fit 2 adult and a kid comfortably. 3 adults would be not be comfortable at the rear. Wish Tata could give more rear space in the next facelift.

I bought my Tata Nexon EV Empowered Plus 45 from Thrissur, Tata showroom at Marthakara, it is a feature rich fantastic vehicle and an out of the world experience to own one, with lots and lots of features, I bought the top end version, which has got a panoramic sunroof , the best part a lot of the cars function can be operated with the TATA IRA EV mobile app , including checking your vehicle status, charging percentage status , switching on the AC and other lights, locking and unlocking the vehicle etc remotely sitting far from your vehicle, Android auto in the car of synched with your mobile phone automatically connects to your phone seamlessly if you are connected to your phone, showing your map and play spotify or other apps on your phone, AC and other features are too good , you are sure to get a minimum of 300 kms range for a full charge of around 40 units of electricity , the front clear display in front of your steering shows a lot of information, your tyre pressure, range, maps and lots of other information, too many to describe, the centre console is the icing of the cake, with high clarity three degree camera with options to view from the different sides of the car, the paddle shifts system increases your energy efficiency of the car by regeneration of current to the battery from the wheels reducing braking in city drives, the ventilated seats provide cooling to your back while driving long distance, you got to see it for yourself to belive, I highly recommend to go for it, as it is worth the price

Real power on the same second acceleration given, not able to compare with any other cars. I have used like polo. The way it is designed is also amazing, a much better look both in interior and exterior.

Poor buying experience, delivery was too late by Tirupur SGA TATA. Delivery with a lot of malfunctions and without any software updates. Resolved it by visiting three times to the service center. After one year at 9k km, before even completing 10k km got an error, and the car stayed in the service centre for more than a week. Range in maximum 240 km while driving at 80 to 90 km /h speed, and 260 Km maximum at 70 km/h speed, and 270 to 280 km for sure if you drove below 60km with AC (auto )on 27 °c and fan speed 2 Recommended only for a daily city drive Conclusion: not a value for money car.
