Mahindra has been known to do new experiments and take new ventures. TUV300 is one of good old school SUV from Mahindra. Ample space, ladder on frame chassis helps to take on Indian roads with ease. Ride quality is comfortable. TUV300 has excellent road presence.. The cons can be low fuel economy.

By now, I have covered 33k km with my silver tank and now my association with my TUV300 is in 3rd calendar year. What you get with TUV300 1. Very powerful Road presence that is just not comparable. You have to get used to the attention that you get. 2. Fantastic road view : very important as safety feature; pqrticularly on Indian highways where buses and trucks come with multiple headlights and all on high beam. 3. A tough offroader : I do not mean strict offroading here.. However broken roads, potholes, rough terrains, village roads are all swallowed by the tank without a hitch. 4. True Blue SUV : It is what it is. Its not a crossover trying to pose as a SUV. 5. Truly tough: The reinforced steel; the high ground clearance, low overhangs, high torque, body on frame chasis make it really really tough 6. Fantastic AC : very powerful and effective 7. Features : Interactive alerts are a boon. You exactly know which door is open; it immediately reminds if handbrake is engaged. Rather than just indicating on dashboard, your TUV tells you.. 8. Service : Mahindra service is mark above other competitors. Comparable with best. They are polite; charge reasonably and deliver on time 9. Very powerful headlights 10. High torque makes city ride much comfortable. No need for frquent gear shifts. 11. Very linear accelleration due to twin turbos. You never face the turbo lag. 12. Practical with lot of space. Large windows and long width make it very roomy and bright with brilliant view. 13. Rear sensors are effective and accurate The Flip Side 1. On uneven surface at low speeds it shakes and rolls like a camel ride 2. Faced initial teething trouble with mount and resonator that were resolved 3. High body roll : So be watchful of curves and turns on highways. It can understeer. 4. Braking leaves room for improvement.

Exterior Rugged lloks are an eyecatcher, plus good road presence

Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Good and value for money

Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox Fuel economy is nowhere near company stated one and slightly cranky gear if in city drive for regular and fast shifting.

Ride Quality & Handling Fuel efficiency , travel comfort is not good for middle row passengers and back row, Typical mahindra rolling is there.

Final Words Go for it if you are looking for a vehicle with rugged looks and good road presence and you need a rough and tough vehicle. It gives good driving comfort for front row passengers but driving comfort steadily declines as you go down the boack of the vehicle. For the price tag the safety and comfort features are good. If fuel econony is something you are looking for in a vehicle this vehicle will disappoint you and the DTE sensory are also not that reliable so you need to be comfortably filled in for a long drive!.

Areas of improvement Fuel efficiency, better suspension for smooth travelling in middle and last row seat.

Stylish looks , Good road presence , Rough and tough vehicle which is made for indian roadsFuel efficiency , travel comfort is not good for middle row passengers and back row ,

Exterior I like the rough and tough design of TUV. Road presence is awesome.

Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Very spacious, zero noice inside cabin, Very confortable for long drives. Infotainment system is of nice quality. Interior design and quality are superior. AC is powerful.

Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox Adequately powererd, Getting mileage of 13.5 in city and 16.5 in highways. Eco mode and ESS are real good features.

Ride Quality & Handling Superb, zero road noise, Handling is ideal for a heavy car. Bad roads are not at all a problem. It is an easy to drive car because of its driver seating position and road visibility.

Final Words If you are looking for real SUV then go for it instead of buying a car designed to look like SUV. A seven seater with this cabin room is a brilliant package at this price. Thanks to Mahindra. I am a fan of TUV from the day I purchased it.

Areas of improvement Suspension and tyre combination is designed for rough roads, could have been smoother and less rigid. Rear AC wents would have been a nice addition.

Cabin Space, comfort, Pricing, Mileage, PowerSuspension is designed for rough driving

Exterior Looks is a matter of person to person likes/dislikes for those who likes straight lines boxy/heavy cars this is a very good option to go for.

Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Very spacious interior with Airy Feel, mid row seat will easily accomodate three passengers, front dash board and quality is best among all other mahindra vehicles even better than his big bro XUV500.

Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox No doubt about Mhawk engine, as its a well known and good performance engine, running since last 10years, little under powered.. but good.

Ride Quality & Handling Best in class

Final Words The car drives with the typical grunt of a Mahindra, and while I would've expected greater refinement I have to say the mHawk80 does deliver. Good low and medium-end torque gives you quick manoeuvrability, and the car's taut proportions help that cause too. Steering is a bit heavy but not disconcerting, and pickup is quick with a minimal touch of lag. The good news is that the engine noise is still the kind of growl some SUV owners would enjoy, especially when you think of the kind of buyer who wants that big-SUV-feel without spending big-SUV-money. Best value for money, for low budget SUV Lovers.

Good Low end torque, Comfortable ride quality, For those who loves macho Looking Cars (like HUMMER)16 inches alloy would be a better choice
