How is the Mahindra Bolero Neo car?

    • Pros

      • Performance - Meaty torque build-up until 100kmph, be it in the city or on the highway
      • Ride - Below the speed limit, there's an incredibly cushy ride over any road surface
      • Roomy front row - Large and wide seats, great under-thigh support, usable armrests
      • Storage space - Ample space in the glovebox/door pads and between the front seats
      • Pricing - More value over Bolero due to additional features/sophisticated mechanicals
    • Cons

      • Mediocre interior finish-  Shiny hard plastics are in use on the centre console/doors
      • Second-row comfort - Legroom even for average adults, seat cushioning is flat/too firm
      • Handling - Less dynamic at speed due to slow steering, soft ride and intense body roll

    Mahindra Bolero Neo 2023 Verdict

The Mahindra Bolero Neo is essentially a rebranded TUV300 (now-defunct). With this strategy, Mahindra hopes to get the strong Bolero nameplate to work wonders for this model.

The heart of the vehicle is its engine and Bolero doesn't disappoint in its department. The vehicle suspension is well-tuned and t provides very comfortable drive in rough roads. Highly recommended.

    • Awesome car
Buying experience was not good, riding experience is unmatched. Looks is awesome while performance is satisfactory. Servicing experience is not good some workshops have untrained staff and add water instead of coolant. Pros excellent vehicle at this budget ride quality is comfortable Cons handling steering could be improved as per other competitors in the market.

    • Most Practical vehical in the segment
Buying experience was hectic too many internal teams within mahindra, also I did not tell accessories which were put without asking me and I had to pay later Driving experience was good and looks were dashing in Rocky biege colour with accessories on it specially front bumper. Pros Solid looks, good torque, eco mode for average, cruise control, driving in city or mountain or highway all are very good both in eco mode or powermode drove in ghats highways and city in first day itself Cons No apple car play, reverse parking camera, less cusiony seats, however all can't be solved also I think blower in ac should have had more knobs like 4 rather than 3

    • Tough Customer
Bolero Neo is a rough and tough machine that can handle rough, unpaved roads easily while keeping all passengers quite comfortable. Pluses include the powerful, efficient, and torquey engine , heavy duty suspension, and strong build. Cons include Looks, that are not to everyone's liking, Body roll that is quite apparent; and the Rear jump seats that are only to be used for emergencies. However, as an entry level sem-urban transport for the family - nothing comes close. Mahindra aftersales can be a hit and miss at times though.

Good...., excellent mileage is 11 km/l which is less as comparison to 17.2 as they claim. Need to improve. Others are good. Service /control etc are good. Side mirror control should not be manual.
